|Rick Macnamara||Coeyman Family Cemetery|
Hello, Joseph! First, let me say how much I admire the work you did in gathering information and photos of this unfortunate lost cemetery which now apparently lies under a parking lot in Newark, NJ. It's always a pleasure to see someone take the time to thoroughly research local history. My reason for writing is to let you know that I just discovered another person buried there in 1888, a young girl named Emma Coeyman, daughter of Martha Jane Beardsley Coeyman (1851-1904). Acting on a hunch, I requested young Emma's death certificate and it indicated that she was buried in the Coeyman Family Cemetery. I believe there are many, many more interments and it has become a minor obsession for me. Anyway, thank you for your research and detective work!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the cemetery name and headstone photo, Joseph. It takes a village to solve all these mysteries - thanks for your generous part in it!

Hello Joseph, I love to research family connections, even if not mine. I did a quick look at Orietta and found her in the 1910 census with Daniel H Muir and daughter Mariel. Mariel appeared in 1920 Michigan with father. 1930 and 1940 in Essex county New Jersey. I also found an obit for a Rev. Edward William (Bill) Harris from August 2015 which refers to step-mother Mariel Muir Harris who is Find A Grave memorial # 17603610. I Believe this is Orietta's daughter but will leave it to you to confirm if you don't already know of her and edit her into family. Thanks. Kevin

|Dana Fox Mariner||Thank you for the Booth photos|
Joe, I so appreciate the photos you took of my husband's family. We live in FL so it is hard for us to get up there. We are still missing Herb Jr. who is buried there, but possibly not in the family plot. Also, we are looking for a Booth sister & her husband, Florence b.1911 & John Graves. Is there any way to tell if they are buried in that cemetery? Again, many thanks.

Dear Mr. Schiffenhaus,
First, I want to thank you for adding the 50+ pictures of my memorials. My message to you was not intended to insult you, attack you or imply that you were bending the rules but, only to bring a heightened awareness that I personally would have been more than happy to add any statistical and/or biographical information to the memorial that you wanted me to post.
Also, thank you for explaining the reason as to why you add notes to the flower section and not the edit section of the memorial. I could not for the life of me understand why it was done. Now I do.
I updated my memorial for my Abigail (nee Ward) Coe who was the same person as your Abigail (nee Ward) Coe. Thank you for bring this to my attention. I also connected her to the memorial of her husband, Halstead Coe.
I truly appreciate your offer to invite me to your Ancestry tree but, I do not share my personal email address on this website. I hope you can understand. However, if you sent me one question at a time, I will respond to it as quickly as possible and will delete immediately after responding to it. If you feel uncomfortable doing this, I would understand.
Thank you for your time and for responding back to my message.

I updated the memorial with the information that you posted in the "leave a flower and note section" of the memorial. So, you may want to delete it. I believe this section is intended for people to leave a personal message and/or memorial comment, and not for statistical information. Please feel free to make any corrections and/or additions in the edit section of the memorial. I would have been more than happy to do this for you. Also, I think most people on Find A Grave would appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

One may never know the lives that one touches through serendipity.
Though we may never meet, I wanted to say "Thank You" and acknowledge the large body of work you have done.
Your selflessness and quality of your work has helped me many times as I continue to research a Descendant and One Name Study of the Doremus Family.
You are one to emulate.

I am researching my friends family tree and I came across Frances "Fannie" Van Houten-Malanfy. She was born in Newark, NJ in 1839 and lists her mother as Ellen Pier. Do you have Frances as a daughter of Henry and Ellen??

Joseph, Thanks again for providing the photos I requested. You do great and fast work. A question is Susan a child of Elias and Maria? She is not listed in Find A Grave lookup.
