RE: Photo requests Victoria Lawn
Thanks for looking for the Whipples. I don't imagine their spouse's headstone was there either, then. Thanks again. Velda

Hi. I just transferred the 2 memorials to you. If there is anyone else in the area that you may be looking for, let me know. I may have a pic but may not have gotten around to making a memorial yet.

RE: re:William Cunningham edit
Hello Dan,
I'm related to a Cunningham family from St Catherines, Canada.

However, the William Cunningham I was researching, is not the William H. Cunningham who died in 1954.

But, to answer your question, I received his birth year from his headstone. It stated he was 65 years old at the time of his death, making his birth year about 1889.

Thank you for double checking any and all information.

RE: Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol
Been transcribing an old burial book which the church lost track of. About 3/4s of burials in this section at back of cemetery are children, many stillborn. The church hasn't any of them in their "official" record. I'm going thru the records at the town hall and uploading the ones I feel are accurate. Sometimes the writing and spelling make it a little difficult to be absolutely certain but often can tell from date of death/burial and age when given. There are about 55 stones in this section which helps. Not quite finished and have found over 200 additional burials!

Hi Dan, Happy New Year. Just found 2 more Lanteignes in Gethsemane. Twins of Samuel and Louise who died in 1924. Thought you might want to add them to your families.

On your request you said that the two markers were close. For your info, the Clute marker is
right behind the Lynch marker. they could not
be any closer, unless they were beside each other.

Pictou County heeadstones
Hi Dan
Feel free to use the photos anyway you like. Once I put them on the internet, I feel anybody should be able to copy and use anyway they like & I Do Not want recognition for them. I'm glad I could help. I have found most of my families headstone in the area so now I try to find other people headstones for their trees. If you have any other requests for the Pictou area, let me know & I will try to get them for you.

RE: David Fast, husband of Margareta
I usually go with the markers when it comes to discrepancies in birth dates. If you get that photo, I'll make the adjustments and note the difference (just in case another Wiens relative with the "book" comes across the memorial!) It's only a matter of a week and a half! thank you so much!!!

RE: David Fast, husband of Margareta
I don't know. My genealogy book was published in 1970, and has no penciled in updates. It's entirely possible.

David Fast, husband of Margareta
I was not able to find information on his burial (it was after our old family genealogy book was printed), but if you're back in that cemetery where Margareta is buried, might you be able to look for his marker?
Don't make a special trip, but if you happen to be in the area.... Again, many thanks! His number is
134097873. Fill out the SAC form if you happen to be successful. (I don't ask for much, do I?)
