Thank you so much for catching that mistake. If you will take her off as Caroline's mother. I am positive this if the correct father. Their family was very close and related in several ways to our family. I'll see if I can find out more later.

Thanks Again,
Kristle

RE: Dianne
Dear Mary:
Just sending you a hug and thank you for your kindest words. Congratulations for accomplishing your 3 years; you are a strong woman. It just seems such a long drawn out process and I'm trying to survive it. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness.

Grover L Beasley #9703643
Hello Mary:
I was wondering if you are related to the Beasley's you took photos and posted memorials for in Patrick Co., VA? Grover's obituary states his interment at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, CA and now I'm confused. Do you think his stone is just what it says..."in memory of..."? I thought I would ask you directly before I try and contact Fairhaven in California. Thanks!

Both my parents had that done (cataract removal) over the past couple of years. My dad no longer has to wear glasses.

Memorial Edits
Dear Mary: I hope all is well. ... "Find A Grave" has a new feature where you have an Edit tab at the top of your profile page where you can quickly approve or disapprove edits. Personally, I don't like to change because many people are not aware of the tab. Anyway, I sent you a bunch of edits today so I just wanted you to know.

Keep up the great work!

Sincerely,

Andy

RE: Information
Thanks for the info. The reason for the
initials is when the other people did
the Hankins Cemetery list, that's all
they put. Later, after finding obits,
I would learn their full names. Joyce

few at a time. No need to acknowledge all,
just post them when you have time. Thanks,
Joyce (And thanks for all your work on this
project!)

RE: Rufus Permar
Sorry for the error. As mentioned, I'm helping a PERMAR friend of mine to research his ancestry and Find A Grave is one source, but living in Guilford County is a bigger source since most of them I've found so far have been in Guilford and not many in other states.

If I run up on corrections or additions, I'll let you know. Thanks!

Bob

RE: Sonia Nance Roberts
Not any kin but she has an extensive database of all Nances and is the moderator of the "Nance around the world" facebook page. She has her email set to not accept messages from people she doesn't approve beforehand. I, and I suspect many others have complained to findagrave about Mr. Ham, about no response to requests for corrections in the past few years. But as far as I know, they haven't done anything yet. I will email Sonia and explain to her the problem. Have a merry Xmas.

Thomas Randolph Branson
Hi, I'm curious if you have any death documents for Thomas Randolph Branson. The only thing I have is the tombstone and it says 1940 not 1941. It seems all the other genealogists are saying 1941, but don't show any documentation. Thanks,

James Levi Lindley
Hi, Please check you records about James Levi Lindley 1906-1989. I believe this is the son of Lulu Branson and Levi B Lindley not the husband of Lulu Branson Lindley. I can't seem to find Lulu's husband Levi B Lindley 1856-1931. Do you have access to death records etc? I don't find him listed on Find a Grave.com at all. Thanks for you help.

did you try the shaving cream trick to bring out the dates on headstone. If you do not know this trick:

buy cheap ones that work as well as any.

spray cream on head stone, smooth out the cream with a smoothing tool, plastic or medal. the cream will flow into the name/date indentions. you should be able to read. hope this works for you.

Update on Lauvinia Clayton
Another Findagrave member sent a correction to not link her to their John Clayton memorial, as he is the wrong John Clayton. His wife Charlotte was too young to be Lauvinia's father and also he and his wife are black, where Lauvinia and her family are white. I just wanted to let you know why I deleted the link. :-)
