Per 1900 U.S. Federal census Bernard Martinez is living in Los Alamos, Santa Barbara, California, born Jun 1836 California Head Married Day Laborer, spouse name Modesta, father born MEXICO, mother born CA [census states Bernabe has been married 37 years]

Per 1910 U.S. Federal census Bernard Martinez is living in Orcutt, Santa Barbara, California, born abt 1836 California Father-in-law Widowed, both parents born CA [in the household of daughter Marfisa E. (Martinez) Velarde and spouse Lazaro Velarde]

Per Vital Search CA Death Records Bernavel Martinez, age *89, died 01-24-1915 in Santa Barbara Co., CA *[NOTE: I believe that there was an error typing his age for the record. Believe it should state 79 - twc 2013]

Sorry, I could not find you in my tree. I can not get back beyond the birth of my paternal grandparents in Russia in the mid 1860's. I do not know who my great grandparents are/were.
