RE: Samuel Barron photo request
I' sorry I didn't locate the member but I am currently working on photographing the entire cemetery. I've noted numerous graves unmarked and cremation placements without any writing on them which I will address to the ground crew to see what they know about them. If I locate the spot for the member I'll let you know what I've found out.

RE: Tully's Grave....
Thanks for writing back!

Anyway, you could pass on my contact information or get me in touch with them? The photo is mine (and I have no problem with it being shared, glad to see it out there) but would like to figure out which man is Tully, with certainty. As well as identify the other Woodard on the team who is also pictured My best contact is

Thanks for any help!

Tully's Grave.... in Mt. Zion - Frankewing Cemetery and photographed here:

Also, the picture you have of the baseball team...? Curious how you determined Tully is the third from the left? I have the picture, but my great-grandmother marked THREE guys, leaving me baffled ;p If you can explain your certainty that he's the third from the left, I would love you forever.

Thanks for your efforts in adding this family data to Findagrave. I'm returning to genealogy after a multi-year (LOOOOONG) hiatus and it was nice to see.

I have some information but not much just what I have found on Family Search, census and such. At one time I was in touch with Mark Woods from Texas who told me he was off Wynona's family. I think one of the older sisters. But he also knew the Peebles who moved to Texas. I have lost touch with him. If you will give me your mailing address I will send what information I have. How are you related to Wynona?

Ann Peebles
Ann Peebles worked as a servant from 1900 thru 1910. She died June 5, 1917 in Lincoln Tennessee and is buried in the County Cemetery. I found it on Family Search several years ago. George Peebles is my gggrandfather.

i was refering to a old church membership list i looked at years ago in back of one of the churches record books, that had birthplaces in germany, for family members. when i copied the surnames & birthplaces , i did not have enough time to write down the given names.

We tried to make the photo clearer, but was only able to make out a few letters and numbers. We will go back out tomorrow to see if we can get a better shot or etching to make out the rest. :D

RE: Sam Barron
I am so sorry for your loss. I saw the obit in the paper and thought it must have been a misprint. Then I realized it was indeed correct. At this time, I do not know the cause of death for Sam Sr, but I will ask some of our high school friends that I am still in contact with. If I find out anything, I will be sure to let you know. My prayers are with you.

Your son
Carolyn, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I know this is a terrible time that you are going through, due to terrible circumstances. I don't expect to hear from you for a while, but know that you have my deepest condolences and I am thinking of you.

Which of the George Vandivers is your ancestor?
What part does not match your line? You realize you have two men listed under the same find a grave, which is easy since they had same name and similar dates but not entirly. Lawrence Co Ala George fought in the War of 1812, while SC George served in Revolution from Va, neither ever lived in the same area.
In my research I traced the family lines of both George and Hollingsworth Vandiver sons of George Vandiveer/Vandevour as his Will is listed 1759 Kent Co Del. With Hollingsworth Vandiver it was fairly easy to pick up his records with the unusal name, with the Georges it was a matter of sorting through them, I have in my data base close to 100, thankfullly they all did not live the same time in the same place. Let me know what part does not match your records and I try to help solve the question.

Casey Cemetery
Hi Carolyn I'm not sure if I updated you or not on the Casey cemetery. I know that a group went out and had a clean up day there back in the winter. I have been out of town working for a long time so I have been out of touch and I wasn't able to attend. But once a cemetery is added to the list they rotate around the county working on the worst first and down to the better ones. So it will be in the rotation now and it is on record and no longer a lost cemetery. The committee also maps those graves during the cleanup. That information can be obtained by the Lauderdale County Library.
