|Brett Wilson||George Hill Grave Photo|
Hello, I am working on a project to locate all of the final resting places of soldiers who served with the 2nd Wisconsin who were a part of the famous "Iron Brigade" that fought during the Civil War. This project is to not only locate where their final resting places are, but to also see if their stones may need to be cleaned, repaired, or installed as well as gather as much information about that individual as possible. There will be a website up very soon that will have each soldier listed with their information on their own individual page. I was wondering if you might be willing to have your picture of his stone be used for the website and this project? I will give you full credit under the picture.
Thank you very much for your time and also photographing this hero's stone. It is very much appreciated.

You added the wrong head stone to his page. I have added the right one. The one you added had a dob of 1855 I think it is his father. Memorial# 39367040

Thank You so very much for all of your research & hard work. It is well appreciated. Thanks to You I was able to clean up some of the mistakes that I had. I am so sorry that you had to find this Cemetery in such bad shape. I have had a bad experience at the Grand View Cemetery as I found a lot of Stones in a dumpster before they closed it down. They even had a lot of bones in their store room and in their dumpster. When you have time put in Grandview Cemetery in Glendale, Calif. I am so glad I am in Florida now. Your Friend, Stu

Thank you so much for taking the photograph of the tombstone of Valeda Landry Davis. She is an aunt of mine--sister of my father. It would be a long trip for me to take a photograph of the grave and at this time I do not look forward to travelling a great distance.

If they are the same dates, I would truly appreciate the photo of Augusta. The photo for john I would appreciate as I have been researching several Johns that I haven't found. Hopefully, it will be one of them. I can always change the name on the memorial & the dates. I appreciate all of your effort Stu
