Hi Leona, been a long time since we emailed. I found the cemetery photos my mother Ruby had given me and posted them to the Brown memorials for the ones buried at the Mason Brown Farm / Bull Pen Branch Cemetery. Take care n God Bless, Mike

Mariah Glass Latham
I am an ancestor of Mariah as well. My 3 great Grandmother was Louisa Glass Pryor. She is the oldest sister in the family. She was born first by all of her records that I have. In the 1820 census there are 3 little girls listed under the age of 10. In the 1830 census there is one girl (Louisa-1814) 15-19 years of age. There are two girls (Mariah-1816) (Alcinda-1818) 10 - 14 years of age. I have recently discovered Alcinda. Had been looking for a third sister for a bit. In the 1840 census Watson Pryor and Louisa Pryor lived next to Aaron Glass and her Father John Glass. An Uncle Bailey Jones lived next door to him. There are a lot of names that are the same in the Pryor, Latham and Glass families as well as Alcinda's family. Thank you for contributing all of this on findagrave.

A super BIG BIG BIG Thank you. Since the transfer I have almost pulled my hair out trying to figure out who the memorial was. With only the headstone with the one name. Again super thank you.

THanks for sending info on their children. Might you have the memorials for them so we can link family members together? IF you ever find them, hope we can reunite them. Since they are your family, would you like me to transfer memorials to you?

Hi Leona!! Nice to hear from you; another Brown researcher. No, I do not have a photo of your Louisa. Most of the photos that I have are my Brown line - I have several there. How do you descend from Louisa? Maybe we have notes to swap!! Email me direct if you would like.

RE: Pvt.Jefferson Debord
Dear Leona, I can't tell you how thrilled I am to hear from you. You are first of what I hope is many descendants of the 86th Illinois to get in contact with me because of Find A Grave. I have been studying the history of and trying to track down the men who served in the 86th off and on for 25 years. I hadn't worked on the 86th for a while, then about five months ago, I found our about Find A Grave and boy what a site! Through Find A Grave, I have seen about 100 pictures of 86th Illinois veterans graves that I thought I would never see. I started trying to finish off my search for the Prince-ville boys for the Princeville Historical Society. I am down to my last 12 out of 103.
You have a lot to be proud of. Jefferson was one of four members of the Debord family to serve in Co. K. I hope to see a picture of Jefferson's grave because of Find A Grave shortly. His brother, Nelson, is buried in Princeville about 20 miles from me here in Peoria. I have a picture of John's grave thanks to Find A Grave. I still don't know where Henry is buried.
I would love to get some kind of picture of each of the Debords. Have you ever seen a picture of Jefferson or any of his brothers? If you haven't, do you know of anyone who might have some pictures of the Debords of the 86th Illinois. Thanks for contacting me. I will add the information about the Debords to their sites. Thanks, Baxter
