James Pace
My husband and I walked the Bethany Church Cemetery today and did not find a James Pace but we found an Ollie Pace with the birth date of 1883 and date of death 1964.

RE: Samuel James
Everything I find still points to that. I have his birth as 1728. I'm going by what I find on ancestry. In that regard this is where I get hung up. Ancestry does not give me your link to Samuel this is the one they give me. What is your take?

Alma Pace Baxter
Hi. I looked for Alma Baxter at Mt Zion Cemetery and could not find the grave. I went to the memorial page and found that her spouse's memorial has a picture of the headstone. You could probably ask the photographer to share the headstone picture with her memorial. I was going to go back and find the headstone but since the picture is already on another memorial, I think asking them to share would be easier.

If you still want another picture, I will get to it.

RE: Alma Pace Clark Baxter
I may have seen an Alma Pace Clark. I only live a few miles from the cemetery. Don't request a new photo and I will go back to see if I can find it. I will post it if I find it.

Will that work for you?

Edits on the Find a Grave system
On your personal findagrave home page there is an edit tab at the top of the page. If you click that tab you should see where I have entered the plot numbers and you can choose to accept or reject any corrections all at one time which makes it easier. This was new to me a couple of months ago. It might be new or I just didn't see it. Unfortunately you do not get any email notice that corrections are there other than a number showing up next to the edit on the tab. You just have to know to check it every now and then.

Just wanted to check and see if you know about the new procedure on when people send you suggestions, additions or corrections. A lot of people have told me they missed it, and my number of pending items is growing pretty high.

I am not trying to rush you, just wanted to make sure you knew about it. -- when you get a chance, would you please check the "EDITS" tab on your F.A.G. contributor/profile page? I have sent one or more items for very minor corrections or addition of a plot number, etc. (including this one) and they are apparently still pending your review/action, as the manager of the memorial. For more information SEE:

Thank you so much! I appreciate it. Best wishes for 2014.

I transferred your mother's memorial to you. I'm so sorry for your loss. I tried to link both her husbands to her memorial but was not sure which Van B. Hughes was the correct one.

RE: McSween Monument Photos
Your welcome. The cemetery is very well maintained and easy to navigate. Taken from the Kennesaw Cemetery website: "Kennesaw Cemetery lies on the property of camp McDonald, a former confederate training ground for Georgia volunteers. Many of the city's founding fathers are buried in the Kennesaw Cemetery. The exact date that the Kennesaw Cemetary was established is not known, but the earliest known burial dates back to 1863."

McSween plot included Whitt P. McSween Jr. 8/6/1946=9/25/2009, Michael Boyd McSween 5/5/1948(only date listed) and Paige Pankey McSween McDonald 7/24/1921-5/11/2001. I took those photos as well if you need them for other memorials.

Nancy Adaline Ferrell Abernathy
I have taken her picture this evening, she is in the Ferrell family plot. Her parents are to her right and Henry Grady Ferrell and wife are to her left. And her brother James and a sister and family are to the far left of her. All in the same bricked in plot area.
There was no Andy around her and I did not see any Abernathy graves while we walked the cemetery.
BUT Nancy may have been married again because her name on her headstone is Addie F. Mayes born Sept 16, 1888 and died Aug 20, 1962. I have taken several pictures of the family plot and some up close of the others just in case. I will upload them in the next day or two. Dianne #48112564
