RE: 116894251
Hi Lulu,

It's been a while since I was down that way; I'm afraid I don't remember whether or not there was a Mary with Van Cleve. I'm having a similar situation with my great-great-grandmother. The whole family is accounted for except for her. Perhaps when it gets a little warmer, somebody will be able to see if Mary is in Hopewell. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Please note I have added the marriage of Nathan and Catherine Hagaman to his memorial and included the citation from the Ege book. Thank you for submitting this information.

I was not saying anything about the old style edits. I wanted you to see what Kristina, who is an administrator, said about the new style, since there is nothing yet in the facts. I thought it would help you. I also said nothing about contacting her, I was quoting the entire message she posted in the forums so you would know who it was from and that I was not making anything up. Sorry you took it all wrong.I wanted to give you the info before you spent another Sunday while you hubby watched football sending me items from your transcript. BTW also in the forums, Kristina has said we do not have to add any birth date that is not on the tombstone, we can just note it in the bio, as many "calculate birth" programs use different algorithms and do not account for the change of calenders, and the different calenders in use in different parts of the world. SO in the interests of accuracy I will be adding these to the bio section, not adding the date, then adding a note is probably calculated.

I added the links for his parents, but on the edit you had requested I delete the link for his wife which was why I denied it. It's all corrected now, thanks!

RE: Eugene Reynolds
No problem. That should give me a chance to get up there to look into the other Reynolds you requested.

I have his picture and that of Kate and Henrie. Frederick and parents are in a different plot and I did not get there today to check. I have many Woodlawn requests to fill and will get there in the near permitting!

Elizabeth & George Nickel
Hi Lulu,
Thank you for recording them, making memorials.

This Elizabeth Nickel, I sent you some edits for her (and also her husband George).

Her memorial 135000476

Are you related, if I may ask? If not, may I ask for a transfer, please? I would have made her a memorial, but I didn't know for fact that they were in Fairmount. I know that she was originally put into Phillipsburg Cemetery (according to her death certificate), she was buried there on 1 July 1924 (died on 28 Jun 1924 of Tuberculosis & exhaustion.) As you state on her memorial, that "death date" would be her "reburial" date. I had saw on Jan Raub's website, her transcription for Elizabeth & George, but I wanted actual confirmation of someone on Find A Grave, of seeing their stones & recording them.

If you do not want to transfer, then let me know please, and I will write up a biography sketch for Elizabeth for you to add to her, if you would please.

Finally, this whole family will all be linked and "together" again.

Thanks much,

John C.Titus
Samuel W. Titus
Dear Lulu,

Samuel W. Titus is my granduncle. His siblings were in order - Mary, Josephine, Hannah, Clark(my grandfather), Charles, Emma, [Samuel W.], and Adeline. I am sponsoring my great grandfather's grave. He is Samuel also and I need to make additions to his children as well.

Best regards,

John Titus

RE: 135118160 Stott
Hi, Lulu,
You should have gotten two edit messages, one for Elizabeth A. and one for William. Both were both born in Lancashire, England, according to the person who put the info on They cited the 1911 Census of England.
In the 1920 census they are listed as husband and wife; it verified they both were born in England, and they immigrated to the U. S. in 1912.
Hope that clears it up; if not, let me know.
Mary in NJ

Leigh Miller
Henry and Sarah Mershon
They are buried in the Presbyterian churchyard in Lawrenceville, not in Hamilton Square as the other memorial states. Years ago there was some discrepency between the two cemeteries as someone posted a photo of the Hamilton Sq church on the Lawrenceville site & it confused many. I think it's all been sorted out, except for a few memorials. Thanks for checking. Leigh

RE: Drake
It was Margareta Drake at Humboldt, Nebraska. You had requested her husband Benjamin Drake, but he is buried in the Starr Cemetery. There were 2 other Benjamin in Humboldt & maybe a Margaret! This was not near there plots. I don't believe Margareta had her maiden name, but like you without checking again I'm not positive. The Marshall might be a sister or maybe no family at all. Luella

RE: Drake
Lulu, I really had given up on finding her, and just happened upon her stone yesterday while walking through looking for others! She is by Margaret Marshall, is she related? I don't remember if her parents were listed. Anyway I was happy to find her! Luella

RE: Reynolds Plot
The sun came out and I decided to head back to GF Cemetery. I've just returned with photos of the Reynolds in 109C, 202 and 203. I'll upload them later today or tomorrow. Glad to help. :)

I transferred this to you per your request, but if you decide you don't want it, please don't transfer to anyone else, send back to me. I have someone who asks other people to ask for a transfer, claiming a close relationship, then they transfer to him.(He is a name collector)

nov 6 seminar

My husband, Bob, and I recently gave a presentation at the Hunterdon County Library about the cemeteries of the county for the Tricentennial. Included in this event is a county-wide “scavenger hunt” where participants will return on Nov 6 and collect prizes for their participation at the Main Branch Library. We wanted to make that return lecture an informal meet and greet where anyone interested in getting involved, whether it be in cemetery restoration, work at the Historical Society with cemetery records, working in support of specific cemeteries, or with findagrave. Whatever it may be, and offering a way for like minded cemetery folks to network, share resources, advice, and the like. I am extending an invitation, hoping you are available and would like to come out and share you own expertise with the group. It’s, November 6, 7-9 PM at the Hunterdon County Main Branch Library. If you can make it let me know, thanks.
