You are so right. We are all human and we all make mistakes. I have done the same thing myself. Thats why we all work together here at Find A Grave.

You have a blessed weekend. Mary

They did repeat initials and names a lot -- which speaks greatly of how they felt about their heritage, but now soooo many years later, it can pose a challenge to connect the dots. I think at the end of the day I would rather it be this way tho.

Black Oak
Hello Cuz,
How are things out your way? We are all fine here. I have a Dees question for you -- the J C Dees 1896-1943 buried here at Black Oak--does he belong to Alex B & Julie Hughes Dees?
Take care,
Sarah

RE: John Morgan Teague
Thank you very much Curtis. I have been trying to find written documentation on the removal of John Morgan Teague's body to either Alabama or Virginia. So far I have found general references but, no actual list. Hopefully I will run across this actual list and it will benefit everyone. I just love meeting new people on this site! Everyone is so nice and so very willing to share their information and data. Please let me know if I can be of any help to you in your quest of your ancestors.
