I am a volunteer like you. The owner of this cemetery promises to call the police on any Find A Grave volunteer.
You can always request again, but I promise you that the photo(s) you seek can be easily and quickly and reliably procured another way.
There has been great success with the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society. They completed exhaustive photographing of headstones at San Luis Cemetery in the past 5 years, and they will share them with you.
You can email a request for a photo of the headstone(s) you are looking for, by doing the following, and they will respond promptly:
Address your email to
Put in the subject line
San Luis Cemetery Headstone photo
Give them the name and birth and death dates, or as much as you know.
Ask them to send a picture of the headstone, and tell them how you are related or what your interest is in this person.
They will appreciate that. This information may only be used in genealogical research.
They will email you within a day or two with an attached photo(s), if it exists.
I will ask that your request be removed (so others arenít discouraged), now that you have a very reliable and quick way to achieve your goal. If there is any problem, please let me know.

Thanks for reply. I am old enough to remember when women's only identities was by their "Mrs" and husband's first name. I guess marriage was their "claim to fame."

|Barbara Pierce||RE: Thank You|
I am thrilled that I found FIND A GRAVE. It gives me a chance to enter information on my ancestors and share photos. When I was at Robey Cemetery years back, I was still in my early stages of researching my roots in South Dakota. I took pictures of all the Schleder's, related or not, just in case I found a connection. I am happy that someone found the photos on the site.

|Eric Swope||Blanche Misenheimer|
Cheryl, there truly are angels among us!! I am thrilled to have the photo!!!! As an advocate for Blanche, I feel complete that her memory will continue for ages to come. As a former Californian born in Sherman Oaks, I was shocked to hear of St. Mary's history and felt the need to do something about it! Your time and your photo confirms my belief that our loved ones are always "looking down on us" and in this time of the Easter season your involvement was a magnificent gift to our family!! We are forever thankful to you!!!!!! Eric

Thank You so much Cheryl Tovar for adding Calvin Ethan Allyn! I loved reading the newspaper article. My Great Grandmother Joyce Donnell is mentioned. She was named after the Joyce Family. Elvira Fisher Joyce buried at St. Mary's was her Great Grandmother.
