MT OLIVET CEMETERY ST JOSEPH MISSOURI
I searched for your loved one yesterday. This cemetery is enormous. There are about 21,000 burials here. If you look at the photos for this cemetery, there is a map and you will see names of different sections. Each section has upward of 400 plots in it. If you could get the name of the section it would help. I don't have a map of plots and when I go there the office is hardly ever open so I can't access the map inside the office. I will be going back now and then and if you call the office at 816-279-5005 and get a section name and post it on the memorial page, someone should have a better chance of finding the marker. Directions or a location within the section could help as well. The office personnel don't want a person like me asking for the locations of a whole bunch of people....they just don't have time for it all at once.
I hope this will help you find your loved one.
Stacey

Schindler gravestones
Hi Mary,
There is a website featuring HF Schindler family which references several photos of the gravestones including those of Christian Schindler and Magdalena Schindler, I think the ones you wanted. Not sure which ones they are but I know they are the right branch because I also recognize their daughter Rosina and the Stuber connection. But I didn't feel right copy/pasting them onto your site since I didn't take the photos personally. But I know the person that did and he is very much into genealogy so you might be able to reach out to him and ask!

Jerusha Beal
I noticed you wanting a request for Jerusha Beal in Highland Cemetery. She was my 4th great grandmother and she is not buried at Highland Cemetery in Eddyville. I have sent a request for them to correct this. She is buried at Friends Cemetery in New Sharon, Iowa with her husband Hiram.
Hope this helps I will look and see if I have a picture of the stone.
Thanks, Lee Ann Simmers Dickey

Adam Kerns
Hi,
I happened to notice that you were looking for a photo of the grave of Adam Kerns in Antle Cemetery. Though not posted on his memorial, the picture is available on ancestry.com:

Johann Peter Leininger
Gravestone and military records show Peter. Could you tell me where you found his first name to be Johann?

Military records show different birth and death dates - b)21 Sep 1755 d) 27 Feb 1835 Could you tell me where you obtained dates in your entry?

It is hard to read the script on the photo of the gravestone. Do you have a translation for it?

Thanks.

Carolyn

Cox, Jesse, Polly & Mahala
I took the photo of the Cox stone on a blistering hot sunny day, and the low contrast of the stone was very difficult to capture. I will try again sometime when I'm out there again.

Note: Daughter Mahala also on the stone.

Cary Nicholas Beal
I have walked and taken pictures of all the markers in the Emerick Cemetery and I have no pictures of any Beals. His wife, Bessie's parents, John & Janet (Allen) Horrocks, are buried in this cemetery and I have Cary & Bessie Beal in my cemetery records as being buried there also. Sorry I could not find a picture of their markers.......RK

RE: Charles Kindred
It only shows on the photo request if you put it in the actual PLOT field, under the cemetery name. You have his listed in his BIO. Which is fine if that is easier for you to look at, it just doesn't show up elsewhere. :)

RE: Charles Kindred
It just doesn't show up in the photo request screen. I am cleaning out old e-mails and I wanted to delete the last one I rec'd from the cemetery office, but the photo hasn't been done and I didn't want to lose the information, so I was just putting there "for the record". :)
