Gravestone and military records show Peter. Could you tell me where you found his first name to be Johann?
Military records show different birth and death dates - b)21 Sep 1755 d) 27 Feb 1835 Could you tell me where you obtained dates in your entry?
It is hard to read the script on the photo of the gravestone. Do you have a translation for it?

I took the photo of the Cox stone on a blistering hot sunny day, and the low contrast of the stone was very difficult to capture. I will try again sometime when I'm out there again.

I have walked and taken pictures of all the markers in the Emerick Cemetery and I have no pictures of any Beals. His wife, Bessie's parents, John & Janet (Allen) Horrocks, are buried in this cemetery and I have Cary & Bessie Beal in my cemetery records as being buried there also. It only shows on the photo request if you put it in the actual PLOT field, under the cemetery name. You have his listed in his BIO. Which is fine if that is easier for you to look at, it just doesn't show up elsewhere. :)Added by NWMGS on Nov 20, 2009 8:40 PM | |
