No problem and I'm sorry to not have found it. There are a lot of DeTars in one section of that cemetery, but those seem to already be photographed.

You are welcome. I have been collecting and retyping many of the old obituaries and editing information on Find A Grave and Ancestry for the family via the books written by Sally Jordan Reed.

Plus I've been around to some of the old cemeteries lately in the Clarion area and taking photographs.

More to come.

You are welcome. Actually, it was a funeral notice in the Northwest Ark Times and the California Death Index. The two together plus his mother's maiden name give in the index, nailed it for me. - dennis

RE: Viola Tennesee Bingham Allison
Hi Polly, Do you have any idea where Martha Ann Lee is buried and or Pleasant Walker Bingham? I have been searching for a while with no success. Also would you have or know of any photos of Martha and or Pleasant Walker?

I do appreciate your quick response, thank you.

Another question is there a headstone or marker for Viola?

Viola Tennessee Bingham
Hi Polly, my name is Richard Spearman and Viola is my grandmother. I am the youngest son of her youngest child Nettie. I am wondering why she is listed with the last name of Wilson. There is nothing in my research or even from my cousins, the offspring of her daughter Dollie, that indicated that she was ever divorced from Andrew and remarried. Could you please clear this up for me.
Also my wife and I are planning a trip to OK to gather some more info on the Allisons and Binghams, we are wanting to go to Berryhill Cemetery and take pics of her headstone or marker if there is one, is it difficult to get there?
Also we want to gather any info on my grandfather Andrew Allison, he has been a bit elusive.
How are you related?
Hope you can help, thank you very much for your time.
Richard Spearman

Thank You. If you don't live nearby, you really deserve five Stars. That cemetery is a real challenge just to get around.

Floyd Beane memorial
Hello Polly!
Thank you for bringing the duplicate memorial for Floyd Beane to my attention. But before I move things around and delete the duplicate, I just want to be absolutely certain that we have the correct person in the correct cemetery.
Pine Ridge Cemetery and Pine Grove Cemetery are both located in Bay County. Pine Ridge (where the first memorial page for Floyd was set up) is in the heart of Bay City, part of a huge area of about 5 cemeteries along highway 15. Pine Grove is a smaller cemetery a little north and west of Auburn, about 25 miles from Bay City.
The photo of Floyd's headstone was taken at Pine Grove Cemetery. I photographed the entire cemetery last fall. To date, I have never been to Pine Ridge Cemetery, so it would have been impossible for me to have taken a headstone photo at that cemetery. Also, after checking cemetery records on line for Pine Ridge cemetery, there is no record of anyone named Floyd Beane buried there.
I am more inclined to think that Floyd is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery where I took the photo.
If you would like, I would be happy to transfer the memorial I created to you for deletion. But at this point in time, I honestly do not believe that this particular Floyd Beane is laid to rest in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
Please let me know if you would like the transfer.
Thanks!
Cathy in Michigan
