Karen, are you aware of the Croftchecks in Lafayette cemetery also in Fayette County? There are quite a few buried there. I'm not sure if they are the same Croftcheck family in Holy Rosary but I thought I would let you know about them in case they might be.

You're welcome Karen. I know there was one or two more you had requested but I covered the whole cemetery and didn't see the others you had requested. There were a handful of stones tipped over and a handful of unreadable ones.

|Terry Robison||Perley John|
Mymei44, I have been to the cemetery and their are only two(2)Perley Johnsons. #1 died in 1863 at Fort Wagner during the Civil War, the other #2 died in 1870 and was a Congressman. As far as Mary Johnson, she and Perley are buried together, but the old stone that was lying on the ground is no longer there. Mary Johnson Wood, his daughter is buried close by with her husband. I have taken several pictures of all three of these graves and have wrote on the ones that are hard to read. I will be more than glad to send these to you. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will send them to you. The information on Find A Grave is incorrect, two of them are the same. Terry

Hi there, thanks for fixing Minnie's maiden name. After looking at census data for 1910, 1920, 1930, and 1940, I believe that they had three children: Henry Julian, born about 1905, Anna, born on January 16, 1907, and Emma Fay, born on July 24, 1908. So, I believe that the existing relationships to children Thomas and Earl are incorrect. Thanks for wanting to have it all correct. :)

|Jean Griesan||Minnie Smith, Smith Cemetery|
Good morning! I have been researching my Gardner family of Lawrence County, Ohio, and I found a descendant, Minnie M. (Staley) Smith, buried in Smith Cemetery, Wayne County, West Virginia. There is a death certificate available online for her at www.wvculture.org, which lists her parents as Julian Staley and Sarah Ann (Booth) Staley. I believe the Minnie Smith in Smith Cemetery to be this lady. This listing has her maiden name as Webb, but I believe that her maiden name is really Staley. Can you check to see where you may have gotten your information? Thank you!

Thank you for trying to find my cousin's gravestone.
Here is some additional information:
Minnie is likely buried in the same plot as her husband, A Victor Stephenson. I just placed a request for a photo of his marker.
Her daughter, Ruby Stephenson Farmer, is also buried in Bethel Cemetery. Her marker appears on the cemetery site. They may be buried in the same general area.
