Hi!
Could you please edit the name for Find A Grave Memorial # 74914149? The correct spelling should be Vercie instead of Marcie. I added another photo of the headstone that shows the correct spelling.
Thanks,
Cody

Nancy Jane Hazelton
Hello, I noticed you had left flowers for her. How are you related? She is my 3rd great aunt. I have a question.....was she ever married? It is posted on her memorial that she is listed under her son in law Oscar A Ward. On the census' that I have for her she doesn't appear to be married because she is always listed a Hazelton.

Thank you for your time. Lisa landdmcdowell@aol.com

Bill, one more thought. If you don't find the picture, let me know and I can go out and take it again. Unless you live in the county and want to retake. Just let me know. Thanks. Jane

Transfers
Thanks so much for the transfers of the McAfee memorials. I appreciate findagrave contributors, like you, that feel memorials should be in care of family members or friends. Someday, I will get to transfer these memorials to another McAfee family member that will consider these memorials much more than property.

RE: Abbott Street Burial Ground
Greetings,

I am glad you liked it. I am very dedicated to finalizing and completing this cemetery in full per that which is factually known to us.

I have been working on it for about 2 years on and off but now going thru it plot-by-plot to make sure all folks are accounted for, all must have gravestone photos, must have maps to their grave-sites, if no gravestone is extant this must be noted as such. I had acquired the maps and names list from my historian friend at Beverly City Hall 2 winters back in the bad winter. I have about 15% left to verify then I'll be all done with this burying ground in documenting what is on the maps/list of KNOWN plots. The maps and list were probably complied in the 1800's, and the documentation admits that there are illegible, unknown graves even at that time. The date on the maps is 1904 I believe. Some internments go back to the 1600's, so anyone could be interred within these grounds! At one point Abbott Street was put right thru the cemetery, cutting it in two.

Ozoline King Cupples
I found a obituary record for her in the Jackson Sun. It said She was the daughter of Walter and Deline Page King. She was Born in Chester Co,Tn. She had two sisters mentioned at the time of her death Willodean Rush and Jimmie Fleming. She was married to James Cupples in 1931 and he died in 1990. She was a member at Hickory Grove Methodist Church. She worked at Harmon's in Bolivar for twelve years. She had five children: one son Jimmie Cupples of Charlotte,North Carolina and 4 daughters Peggy Maddox,Bobbie Hunt,Joie Freeman, and Janice Duncan.
Her funeral was handled by Leon Johnson Funeral Home in Henderson,TN.When I found the information so easily I thought it might make her page look fuller to add the information I found.Hope you do not mind the help.
