Ralph Burns
RE: Hugh Burns, Carter Cemetery
Don`t reckon Hugh is kin to me but I will take him. Just trying to straighten out the Burns` in Van Zandt County. The charts say William Weldon Burns is the son of William Leonadus Burns who IS kin to me, but that is incorrect, his son is Weldon Bailey Burns. Floyd and William Weldon Burns are sons of Willie Lou Cox formerly married to a Burns, living with a Goolsby family and saying she is their niece.

RE: Minnie L. Venable, Edom
Wayne, thank you so very much for the picture addition to Minnie Venable. I don't remember why my picture was so bad; probably the photographer!! I was there only once and will never get to return so you have made my day. I will delete mine. Merry Christmas to you and yours. God Bless.

RE: Rachel Lenora
Yes, I have a book on the history of their founding of the church in Tyler. My 5th and 6th great grandparents Thomas and Moses Shelby were in the American Revolution.

Have you seen the grave markers I cleaned of her parents - James Madison and Ann Amanda Henderson Shelby?

Rachel Lenora "Nora" Shelby Horn
Thanks for adding Nora's infant son's parents.

I discovered the grave when I cleaned Nora's parent's gravestones.

RE: Otis Rainwater
Wayne,

You have the following on Otis memorial page.

="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Rainwater&GSfn=Otis+&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=61238688&df=all&">Otis Boyd Rainwater

Delete it.

It has to be on “your” contributor bio page and it should be....

Otis Boyd Rainwater

Copy and paste everything from the beginning “<” to the ending “>” and do not change anything or it will not work. It is html code for linking.

Transferring his memorial will not work because it is on your bio page.

RE: Otis Rainwater
Hi Wayne,

That is what it is suppose to do. If you copy and paste it in your contributors bio under his poem and your permission statement then his memorial page will come up for others to see it when they click on it.

Find A Grave has this linkage information in their FAQ'S for linking memorials of relatives other than parent-to-child or spouse-to-spouse. I have used on some of my family memorials to link son-in-law's to wife’s parents and cousins-to-cousins.

I hope this clarifies it better.

Hello Wayne,

Thank you for the the acknowledgment of linkage. I have been linking memorials (my family and two friends) for the past few months and you are one of the few contributors who gave me credit. I have done over 1,400 memorial linkages.

Again, thank you.

Margaret

PS: I love his memorial stone!

Are you related to her or did you just visit the cemetery and take the picture? She was my great grand aunt. I have quite a few Downs people in Holly Springs Cem.

Wayne, would you see if there is a Martha Jane Sims Cox on the survey for Tidmore? She was the daughter of Michael Sims. I don't know if she is buried near him or not.

Thanks, Cheryl
