Thank you for posting his memorial. You have done a wonderful service.
hate to be a pest but when I go to my grandfather's memorial page it brings me here. I did send an edit request.
I have done this in the past but have forgotten the process. If this is not the proper forum can you walk me through the process
I have something to add which explains why a birth record will not be located for my grandfather. I would like to leave it on the page

hello, thanks for the pics
On a stone of Francis J Trial, we cant read his wife's name because of the flowers
Do you know it? It should be Lauretta but not enough space it seems. Could be a second wife? or another Francis, so another wife?
Thanks a lot

Just wanted to add some information. She was the daughter of Thaddeus and Thankful (Alcox/Alcock) Baldwin. She married Capt. Lyman Fenn on June 27, 1796 in Plymouth, CT according to the Northbury Church Records. Her siblings were Thankful, Hannah, Lydia, Thaddeus, Lyman and Nice.
Thank-you for maintaining her site.

|Linda McN||Otis Fisk # 55707144|
Thank you for the photos of my ancestor Otis Fisk's plot in Middletown, CT [# 55707144]. Otis was a coal merchant, and operated a store near his steamboat dock in Middletown, CT. He died as a result of injuries in a train accident in Burlington, NJ (covered by large eastern newspapers).
Otis had another son, not mentioned on the list of children on Findagrave.com: Frederick Otis Fisk, b. 25 Dec 1828, Middletown, Middlesex, CT; d. 27 May 1899 in Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey. He is buried in The Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cemetery. His grave is in Block #28, Lot #101, Grave #4.
Frederick Otis Fisk went west during the gold rush and had a son with Maria Estalles. His name was Frederick Savino Fisk, born 19Feb1853, in Chile Gulch, California. After his father passed in 1855 Frederick Otis Fisk returned Middletown. He later married Georgianna Gove in Middletown, CT and fathered more children. I know of four born in CT. Walter H. Fisk, Henry (Harry) Fisk, Florance Fisk (died at 21 months) and Evaline Fisk. Frederick Otis then moved with his family to Jersey City, NJ, (and Hoboken, NJ) where he worked as a clerk and later dock master. Can you please add Frederick Otis to the list of children, and any additional information you feel can be included?
Thank you again

Hi, I just happened to notice that you have a nice photo of my ancestor's old tombstone. Here's the number of the new burial ground memorial, where Roswell Fenn was moved. 141190461. Should we do anything?
Thank you, and Happy 4th of July! Mary, 3033481971

Would you be so kind as to allow me to manage the William 'Buster' Roberts # 127478510 Memorial? The Roberts Family were a close and loving Family towards me in the late Thirties.

How wonderful to see that Timothy and Rachel still actually have grave markers. You did a nice job of getting them photographed. Appreciate your efforts very much. Diane

|RHodgson ||Walter Grant Penfield - Berlin, CT|
Hello - First I must thank you for your contributions toward preserving our collective family histories. Your commitment is remarkable.
Walter Penfield was my 2nd great uncle (?). His sister, Susie Weed Penfield Hodgson was my great great grandmother. Walter had a fascinating life and you have captured details that we were previously unaware of. I'm thinking the details had to come from an interested family member. I am building a comprehensive family history and would be thrilled to know the person who provided this information to you and have an opportunity to share resources with them.
Many thanks for anything you can share with me as to the information source on Walter Penfield.

Thank you so much. This gentleman died in Trenton, Alachua, Florida and was my step great Grandfather. We were told he was buried in Trenton so I was surprised to find this headstone. Family said his 1st wife was notified of his passing but that she wasn't interested in attending his funeral or retrieving his remains. Yet, she filed for his Military pension. She may have eventually retrieved him and buried him in the family plot. He worked carpentering (as he put it) until he passed away. His death devastated my Great Grandmother. He went for a walk and was missing for quite some time. The sheriff found his body, he must have gotten lost in the woods and died of starvation. His death was ruled death by starvation from insanity. I'd like to know for sure where he is resting so that I can add my Great Grandmother to his findagrave record. It's such a tragic story and I hope to find resolution so he can be remembered with dignity.

I was thinking the same as you, but just wanted to know how you felt. Let's keep both pictures!
Again thank you so much!!
I do have a concern about the duplicate memorials put up in January 2016. Haven't had a response yet unfortunately.

Thank you, thank you for the reminder that my cousin's stone (#58340584) had been upgraded! His sister told me she had it done. I failed to correct the Find A Grave site. I have also finally added his bio. We will be celebrating his birth and his sister's (Jane)birth this month.
Again thank you for the reminder and the new picture!
