RE: Samuel Somers
You might want to send Olive Branch an email.
She specializes in Crisfield cemeteries, taking as many tombstone pictures as possible and has set up many of the Crisfield Memorials.
She has been very helpful to me.
You can locate her by going into some of the Crisfield cemeteries and hunt around some of the Memorials until you find one she has set up.
When you click on Olive Branch you will be on her page and you can then send her an email.

Samuel Somers
I would suggest contacting the Maryland State Archives and requesting Samuel Somers' Will and/or Inventory (if they exist). Give them all the information you have to better assist them.
I like Wills because they usually name the living children and wife at the time the Will was written.
There will no doubt be a fee for this. As an example, New Jersey charges $20 the last I knew.

Samuel Somers
There is a Samuel Somers 1825-1862 buried in Saint Johns United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wicomico County, Maryland, which isn't far from Crisfield - could this be your ancestor?

RE: Somers Family / Ancestors
Hi Diane,
The Somers' family line is a difficult one as you probably already know. Sorry that I do not have anything else to offer. I wish you well in your search.
Have a happy Easter.

RE: Somers Family / Ancestors
Are you on or had them do your DNA?

RE: Somers Family / Ancestors
I am also from the Somers' family from Maryland.
They settled in Crisfield, Somerset County, Maryland, in the 1600's. The original name of Crisfield was Somers Cove.
There are many many Somers in Crisfield. What are some of your great grandparents' names?

RE: Somers Family / Ancestors
Hi Diane,
Feel free to look through my virtual cemeteries for Maryland and Northern Illinois.
Are you from the New Jersey or Maryland Somers family?
Nice hearing from you!

RE: Wright Family Information
To be honest, I was at the Lawnside Cemetery to photograph my mother's gravestone. While I was there, I decided to see if I could find any Surnames from my tree. I have the Wright family on two legs of my tree so I took the photograph just in case. When I realized that they were not in my tree, I checked Find a Grave to see if there happened to be a Memorial and if a picture was needed. When I saw your memorial that fit with the name perfectly, I uploaded and contacted you.

Sorry to have added confusion when I was trying to be helpful. Maybe asking a question on a Facebook genealogy group could shed some light on this.

RE: Hannah Nichols Bayne
Hello, I am answering (very late of me) your comment about Hannah Nichols, 2nd wife of Robert Bayne. I know that her parents were Walter Nichols (Nickels, Nickols) and Jane Loper. I have been to Bridgeton, NJ and I think I found their graves, along with several of their infants in the Baptist Church Cemetery there. Jane's parents were Lot and Hannah (Garrison) Loper. I am interested in knowing more about Lot, Hannah and their daughter, Jane Loper Nichols.
Hannah Nichols Bayne died of TB in July 1873. Her husband, Robert Bayne, died very shortly after her in October of 1873. They left behind 3 children, the oldest Isabel, being 16 years old. I am descended from Isabel and her husband, Mahlon Smith.
Anything you can tell me about the Lopers would be much appreciated.
Regards, Donna Ozenne

Maud Marshal de Warenne and Eleanor Plantagenet
Hi Diane,

I noticed that you are Maud's 24th great grand-daughter. I am her 23rd.

I also noticed that you are a granddaughter of Eleanor Plantagenet. She is my 19th great grandmother.

I descend from these women through the Boones and the Bryans. Do you happen to as well?

Eleanor Plantagenet Arundel
I see that you are also her 20th g-granddaughter, as am I. From whom do you descend?

Hi Diane, I added an image of your 2nd Cousin, 2X Removed to his memorial; thought you might like to check it out! Best Regards, John D.

Hi Diane,
I took the liberty of transferring Eleanor Plantagenet FitzAlan of Arundel to your care, because you are much younger than I am. Take good care of her.

Helen Tudor Gardiner
Hi Diane,

I saw that you left a memorial message on Helen Tudor Gardiner's page stating that she was your 14th great grandmother. I believe that she is mine as well. From which of her children are you related?

Edward Luthy
Hello. Can you please suggest some potential links to the manager/creator of the Memorial for Edward Luthy? Perhaps you can suggest some bio information to be added to his memorial. You would do that through the edit button at top of memorial. Thanks. From, Becky, a Luthy

Hannah Nichols Bayne
Hi, I saw that you left a beautiful angel in tribute to Hannah Nichols Bayne in the Third Baptist Churhyard (defunct) in Philadelphia. She is a direct ancestor of mine. Did you have a special reason to leave the angel. It would be wonderful if there was some sort of relationship here. Regards. Donna Ozenne, Bakersfield, CA

David M. Myers
Sarah J. Curriden

I went back to the cemetery and took a few more CURRIDEN photos and revised the dates that I had on the pages. You were correct...1856-1916.
James Curriden was 1861-1941 and James A. Curriden was 1897-1930. Enjoy!
