RE: Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens
It's really easy. You create an account of the Find A grave Forum for Fix a Cemetery. I then go to Google earth and look for the main entrance or the center of the cemetery. Then in the lower corner of the cemetery is the gps. It has to be converted to the decimal system. There are several web sites which do this. I then send into the web site the correct GPS. I usually add the problem.
You do have to list the name and location of the cemetery. The easy way to do this is simply copy and paste the HTTP:// at the top of the page.

I had to do this for several dozen cemeteries in our area. Than and getting duplicate cemeteries merged. There is a guy here who has old books with out of date cemetery names. It was frustrating as he would duplicate entire cemeteries.

Have sent in the correction. It may take a few days to come into effect. All depends on their backlog.

The original GPS put it in someone's pool just down the street.

If you every come into this use the fix A Cemetery Forum. You have to sign up for this separately. You can read over other request to get an idea of what is required.
I've done several hundred fixes all over North and South Carolina.

Thanks,

I think I see the problem. The GPS map shows it about 300 feet off the actual location. This put it in the middle of a house. It appears when looking at the satellite view it is not quite right. Is the cemetery at the end of Deer Run? I've worked with the Fix a Cemetery Forum a number of times to add GPS and address corrections. I'll see what I can do.

Robert,
Don't know if you had noticed, but the map for the cemetery page has the cemetery located in the next door neighbor's pool. Just thought this was interesting. Do you know how to contact the Fix A Cemetery forum to make a correction? If you would like I can check and try to get it corrected.
Robert
p.s. I discovered this while noticing a duplicate someone had created for one of your memorials for Caroline Fornadley

Thank you for the family links added to the Don Biehn memorial. I am only a very distant relative of his, (his mother is one of the Willmore family) and I am trying to link as many family members together as I can.

Many thanks ~

for the burial plot update for the memorial for Develia Marr ~ I should be actively seeking burial marker photos, especially for the locations in the south and far west, but have postponed requests until I get my memorial information edited.

Thanks again.
