|Kimberly Johnson||Lydia Knowles|
I have found a Lydia Anne Knowles dying Oct 13, 1927. She passed away in Auburn. Her husband is listed as James M Knowles. Parents are Matilda Case and William Cyrus Dirrim...Does this perhaps ring a bell?

This is what I found out about Lyde Knowles. I went to the Everett Public library and went threw there records and The Evergreen Cemetery has a Eliza C. Knowles whose Internment was on March 30-1917 and you have Lyde's Death date as March 28-1917. There is also a Ruth Knowles, Martha Knowles, Mazie W. and Mazie A. Knowles and a William T. Knowles who I believe is her son. So I am wondering if the Eliza could be your Lyde. What info do you have for Eliza? I just think that the death and internment dates are within a couple days of each other and I'm wondering if some one messed up on the name. I looked on the Archives for Washington and there is no listing for an Eliza Knowles. I also found that there is a Lyde who's mother is Anna Barnhill and father Us. Claypoole. I went to the Evergreen Washelli Cemetery and there are 3 Knowles there and they are Sam, Dorothy and William. Please let me know if I can help with anything else and could you please let me know if the Eliza and the Lyde are 2 different people or not, I am real curious about that.

Hello Kimberly, I posted the photo for John Knowles at Washington Memorial for you.
I did some research on Lyde Knowles and found an obituary for her, so I posted it on her memorial.
I am still trying to see if I can find her and her husband Harry interment site.
Evergreen Cemetery in Everett, Snohomish Co, Wa. says they have no records of either Knowles, so currently I have a call in for Evergreen-Washelli cemetery north of Seattle, in King Co.
They are searching their paper records which will take awhile to do.
Will let you know what I find out. John

Hello, I posted the photo you requested for John.
This cemetery doesn't do a good job of trimming around the headstones. It took awhile for my wife and I to clean it up, that is why you see the wetness where the grass had grown over the stone.
If you are family, I would request that they raise the stone to match the height of the lawn.

The early records at Evergreen are often incomplete. If you have other names or information you can try calling them at 425-252-2244. The office staff are generally pretty helpful. If you get a location I would be happy to go take the photo for you.

I did find Myrtle Kennard at Evergreen Cemetery and I took a photo but, I see that Agnes has claimed her so I will wait until she has a chance to fill it if she wishes too. I also added a memorial for Alfred Kennard who is right next to her and one for a Martha Knowles who is in the Knowles family plot. I will stop in and find the other Knowles request tomorrow.

I am wondering how sure you are about Myrtle Kennard and Mary Allyn being in Evergreen Cemetery. The office has no record of them there. There is another cemetery here in Everett and I could stop in there and see if they have them if you would like.
