RE: Slawson - Prairie Home Cemetery
Thank you very much for the extra research. I'm a direct Slawson descendant, though not of this particular line. Still, I track as many as I can and what you added is very helpful.
Sincerely, Joe

RE: Joanne Henderson
I would love to manage this profile. It's my mom. How did you end up with putting her on findagrave? How do I take over?

RE: Alvin Snyder at Prairie Home Cemetery
Thanks for checking on Alvin and Jennie's headstones. I was pretty sure I went to the correct place, but I wanted to make sure.

Alvin Snyder at Prairie Home Cemetery
I visited Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha last month. I went to the place where the online grave locator said I should find Alvin and Jennie Snyder, adjacent to stones for Kruegers. Instead of two stones were a bush and a tree. Do you know whether Alvin and Jennie are buried somewhere else, or if the bush and tree sprang up and displaced the stones?

You added a headstone picture to Robert B Dahms #134193165 on 8/14/2014. What cemetery is he buried in? His memorial is listed as a burial unknown.

Herman Rupp - Prairie Home Cemetery
Thank you for photographing the stone of Herman Henry Rupp. I just found it was there and was excited to see it is clearly done. I am most appreciative.

You're very welcome for the pics. I got to accompany (Murrey) family members not long after the Murrey reunion Monday & Wesley Murrey's grandson (age 93 now) led the way!

RE: Ruby - Prairie Home
Hello and thanks for the explanation. With that, now I understand. I thought it was possible that 2 memorials got interchanged because the name on the memorial was different than the obituary and nothing mentioned about why. I have been looking for a long time for a Rose, Rosella, Rosalie Ruby (nee Gee) and thought for a brief moment this was she. Just in the wrong state. Thanks.

RE: Fidelia Savage
She died just a few years after they moved to SD, 1902, I have no idea where she is buried either. Maybe that historian will find them in one of the small cemeteries in Clear Lake. He saie there were two little ones.... I couldnt find them online.

He remarried to a Margaret T Devy.

RE: Fidelia Savage
Hi, funny but another Find A Grave person just came here from Arizona and we went to the library... to look at old photos.
As far as Fidelia, yep I saw that too, I imagine Fuller is more likely. or should we just leave it?

I have been pretty busy lately on my geneology, and Find A Grave... i go out and garden, get hot and come in on the computer with a fan to cool off! :-)

Hope you are having a great summer too.... say I am on the trail of Cecil Albert Mead, Fidelias son in law. ... buried in a cemetery in Clear Lake SD. ..can you imagine , a historian i spoke to said that with the privacy laws, SD sealed their marriage, birth and death records...only members of their geneology group can get them. Isnt that something...anyway , the church didnt keep records from 1936, the main cemetery in Clear Lake says no he isnt there, and so i am lucky . I got the name of a historian in a nearby county and he is helping me. People are wonderful .

Wendy Sarno
RE: Correction
This is the response I got from Bob and Nancy Cannon who took over the Memorial for Corlin Hunter from you:

"Are transferring this to you [meaning to me, Wendy Sarno] since he is your great grandfather {actually my great grandmother} & you can make the corrections. However, we did not link Mr. Tyler to her. As you can see by the asterisk it was made by another contributor. You will have to contact them to have it removed. "

Without any personal communication they have simply turned over maintenance of the memorial over to me and I'm absolutely new here.

Both of you are claiming the other posted the faulty information.
So....How do I go about taking it off?
