RE: Wesley and E Lynd
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for the Thanks! I live near both Garland and Locust Grove. LG was reported to have only 50 or so graves, and, since I have driven by a couple thousand times over the past 30 years, I knew that this was not accurate It only took a few hours to photograph. The Garland database, worked on by my cousin many years ago, was a "real mess" so I photographed it to at least document all of the inscriptions- I found about 400 that were left out of the best database available. The Find A Grave list for Garland is still likely incomplete, but at least all the stones are posted. My G-G-Grandfather is listed as a burial in Garland, but his wife and monument are both 10 miles away in Murray- I'll probably never know where he "really" is!
Thanks again,

The niche is unmarked. I took the photo so you can see who is interred on either side of Rue Hopkins. She is in the unmarked niche in the middle.

Sorry for the confusion.

RE: John H Spencer - 41389341
Yeah...I apologize for the picture not being a little better, but unfortunately it was looking into a bright sun at a pretty old stone. What I think it says (with some help from this website transcribed the stone back in the 1980s: ) is "John H. / Son of / John T. & Mahala / Spencer / Died / July 9, 1846 / E. [Aged] 1 Yr 3 Months" (I certainly wouldn't bet my life on the "Mahala" part...but that's what they recorded.)

do you you know if he is near any relatives in Springbrook?

carder monument
Lisa-The Daniel Carder was covered with wet, wet grass, unfortunately this cemetery is not mowed on a regular basis, and I don't think they ever weedeat. I had to take off a large amount of grass, therefore Daniel's name did not snap very well. Sorry, I tried.

Located the monument and it has both names. I will add it to Albert and if you would like to download a request for Rosaletta I will add to hers also.

RE: Re: Mary Warren photo request
Lisa, I went ahead and sent you the two photos I took of the other sides of the stone(to your e-mail address), to do what you wish with them, ok? It won't hurt my feelings at all if you choose to delete them. :-)

Re: Mary Warren photo request
Hi Lisa! I went out there this morning to see about getting you a photo, but unfortunately, the only inscription on that stone is for Nellie. The other 3 sides are blank. I did take photos of them if you want to see. I think Andrea just included that one stone with all of them because it had the Warren name on it? So, I am thinking there really isn't anything to add?
