|Pat Taylor||Ive McClary|
Just wondered if you had run across an Ive McClary who married John McKnight Taylor. They lived in Clay, Scioto, in 1850. She was born May 5, 1816, in Ohio, but I have not been able to determine who her parents were. Thanks!

|Robert Preston||Mem. # 42986696|
Based on my recent research, I believe Sarah Melvina Parks ( Mem. # 42986696)was the daughter of Jonathan and Sarah Parks rather than my gg gandfather Notley Davis Parks. Sarah M Parks was 4 and in the household of Jonathan L Parks in 1850. Jonathan's wife Sarah had died before this census. Notley and Sarah Parks' daughter, Sarah E Parks, was in their house in both the 1860 and 1870 Censuses. I hope you can make sense of this and make the change to Sarah Melvina Parks' Find a Grave memorial if you agree. Thanks so much for all the Parks family information and tombstone pictures you have provided!

The links that you requested for the Hortons have been made and I've added Sarah Jennie's full name. My husband is a descendent of the Lyons family from Jackson and Scioto Counties. He is probably related to you.

I may have spoke wrong..
JEFF GLEIM , I think is the one that went to Portsmouth and graduated in the Early 80's...HE was a pretty good Basketball / baseball player...and his grandfather and my grandfather were brothers...
Barry Gleim , he would also be related to me somehow...but I think HE was from Burg area...
All the Scioto County Gleims are related ( as far as I know )...

|Aaron Gleim||RE: Noel Cemetery|
okay...so FEURT CEM. is located across the tracks before you get to the UPS area...hard to explain...but it is over there ...you can see FEURT CEM. from the highway ...this is why I was wondering if NOEL and FEURT were the same Cemetery , but none of the names matched ...so I figured there must BE two Cemeteries very close to eachother across the tracks ?...
this would be close to NOEL Cem. , but not the same...I guess ?
BARRY GLEIM ( grad about 82 ? ) is a cousin somehow , he is a few years older than I am...I know of him , but don't know him well. I am the Minford clan of GLEIMs , I graduated in 1987 ...I think Barry's grandfather Gleim and my Grandfather Forrest Gleim were brothers...
most Gleims are from burg...My Grandfather Forrest " Frosty " Gleim ( 1816-1995 ) was born in " Powellsville " in the Burg...but moved to Minford after he married my grandmother in 1938/9 ...thus starting the Minford clan of Gleims...
Have a great Day ,

Wondering , where is NOEL Cemetery ? By the description , it sound like it is about the same location as FEURT CEMETERY ...?..But It can't be the same on , because the names are different ?..
Feurt Cemetery , is over the tracks near super 8 as well , you can see it when you go by Glockners...
There is also a Find a Grave link to Fuert Cem. Clay township ( you can see the names are different )
there is also a FEURT Cem. in Green Township ..

I linked John Harrion Noel to his father...
I also noticed that you Memorial for Philip Noel , in the BIO you state he was the WIFE of Susan Putman Noel ...shouldn't it read that HE was the HUSBAND ?...
just wanted to point that out to you...
Have a Nice night ,

|Aaron Gleim||STOCKHAM CEM.|
you asked about Stockham Cemetery ?
according to the information I looked up on Scioto County Cemetery Search ...
Stockham Cemetery is located off of 335 at the END of HALL ROAD , Harrison Twp...
I am from MINFORD and know the area , so HALL ROAD is in Rigerish addition , Hall road is NEXT right just past Aaron rd... the Road is a right across from the entrance on left to " Cliff's Lake ...if you go past Dixon Mill road ...you went to far...
so , It isnt in Sciotoville...it is off of rt. 335 the next right turn past Aaron Rd..

I'm very interestd in any photo's you may have and thank you for responding. I was just at the Horton Cemetery about 3 weeks ago and I too was very disappointed in how everything has gone to pot so to say. I was there in 2007 and it wasn't nearly like this. My sister and I think there are possibly more grave stones in all of the shrubbery and brush.
I found James and Sarah Horton's tombstone. James was broken and I could'nt even read the info.
I am the daughter of Everett Hogue, granddaughter of Ella Emma Nail, ggranddaughter of John Henry and Mary Ann Horton Nail, 2nd great granddaughter of James and Sarah Horton, 3rd great granddaughter of John Horton and 4th great granddaughter of Joseph Horton.
I have a picture of John Henry and Mary Ann Horton Nail that I will send you. They moved to Missouri and are buried in the Schermesser Cemetery in Dent Co., MO. I am also from Missouri.
So good to hear from you. Let's keep it up.

|Ruth Ann Hogue Eaker||Mary Ann Horton|
Thanks for posting the picture of James and Sarah Horton's tombstones. I thought I had taken all of the picture in that cemetery but missed those. I was just there last week and James tombstone was broken and turned upside down and we were unable to read what was on it.
My great grandmother was Mary Ann Horton that married John Henry Nail. She was James and Sarah's daughter. They moved to Missouri and they both are buried in the Schermesser Cemetery in Dent Co., Missouri.
If you have any pictures of Horton people I would love to have you email them to me.
Thanks for all your hard work.

You corrected me on the memorial for Isaac... thank you... you are correct... the line of the family gets so confusing cause there are two sets of Silas Lakes and they both married Eliza's!!!
Do you by chance know where Isaac's parents are buried?
Are you family? Any help is greatly appreciated... Thanks!
