|Julie Knox/Graves-Birkhimer||RE: Loretta (Barnett) Sowers|
I don't recall at the moment. I think I found a list of those buried in that cemetery when I was looking for a Sowers from Vinton County, Ohio. If this is a relative of yours I will gladly transfer to you! :D I'll keep looking to see where I found the cemetery list in the meantime.

Feel free. I do not mind. The photo is the Myers family at a funeral, supposed to be Catherine's. I am related through John Leonard Myers. Henry Myers is my great great grandfather.

Hi Katie; I did not keep a record of this obit, but more than likely found it here: http://nyshistoricnewspapers.org/
Either that or
If you can't find it give me a heads-up and I will see if I can track it down for you when I get some time.
I am glad I found something you could use. I would have posted a photo of the obit, but it is against Find A Grave policy. (One would think that graves and obits are a natural fit...)

Hello, On June 8th I sent an edit request via Effie's memorial, to date it has not been completed, so I thought I would try it this way by sending the request via your message page. Please link Effie to her mother's Matilda's memorial, 111987445. Thank you and have a great day!

I searched Section 22 Lot 198. Unfortunately, there are no headstones on the lot. The lot behind the Roth/Patterson lot is Vandergrift. I have a picture of lot 198 with the Vandergrift headstone in the distance. If you would like, I can post it. If not, not a problem. Please let me know what you would like to do.

I routinely photograph entire cemeteries. I load the pictures as I have time, so I usually have the photograph...I just haven't loaded it yet.

The name on this headstone is difficult to read. According to tax records her last name is Draper.
She is the daughter of Jesse Rowe Memorial# 62119646
and Mary Jane Faris Rowe Memorial# 62121556.
Thanks for uploading this cemetery.

I could not find these two in this cemetery. It is a small cemetery, so I don't think I could have missed them. If they died in Vinton Co, maybe they are buried there and was put in the wrong cemetery.
I see that you are researching Beery's. What line are you researching? I am researching Beery's from Abraham (1736-1799,Rockinghamm, Virginia) to Jacob (1769-1842, Fairfield Co, OH) to Jacob (1803-1878 Perry Co, OH) to David (1829-1870 Perry Co, OH). I have tons of research if you need anything.

|betty reese||RE: John H Breakfield/Brakefield|
Hi Katie-well, I leaped before I looked. When I noticed that Henry was also there and died in 1850, I went back to recheck the census. It states at the top that it is for every living person as of June 1, 1850. And both John & Henry were living at that time, so they are being counted on the census.
I am not related to the Breakfield's. I am related to Barbara Corson/Courson who was married to Henry Breakfield and was the mother of John Breakfield. I just recently got started on this part of my tree and am trying to connect Barbara as a sister to my GGG Grandfather, John Corson/Courson.

Katie, I have a copy of the 1850 census with John on it and it is dated Aug 19, 1850 so the death date can not be correct.
I have just started on this family.

I went back and searched (yet again) for James Sower's grave. I've been searching for it for years. I know where he's buried, but I've finally accepted the inevitable...his stone just isn't there (at least not anymore, if it was ever there to begin with). So I went ahead and took a picture of the Steadman Lot that he is buried in and attached it to his memorial.
Wish his stone would have still been there!

I'm a desendant of Henry Breakfield in Fayette county, Ohio. A friend of mineis a desendant of John Brakefield and Rachel Fernow. I was wondering about the picture on John Breakfield's page and if you know who all those people are. I would be happy to share some pictures I have.
