Henderson memorial #39257157
I noticed the photo was not a match for this Mr. Henderson (d. 1951). Your photo is a match for another Mr. Henderson (d. 1902) in this cemetery. I added the 2nd photo to the memorial for John (d. 1951).

I agree - I am going to start looking and see what I can find out about it. If and when I do find any info - I'll be sure to get it to you.

Thank you so much for checking. I appreciate your time in looking. I was afraid there may not be any markers for them. Gary.

Katherine McBride Memorial #8314976

Thank you so much for attaching the picture to Katherine's memorial! Also at the same time you attached a picture of her husband Don's memorial! Thank you for that also!! The main reason I requested photos was because in my research for these people I found the deathdate for Don on the memorial to be incorrect. And by seeing your photo I found that I was correct, and the memorial is incorrect. So I have sent a correction! The deathdate the submitter has for Don is actually the deathdate for Katherine, but the deathdate is not listed on the actual gravestone! You have really helped clear up a mystery, and I appreciate it very much! I was surprised to get the pictures so soon with all the bad weather! THANK YOU!

Thank you Leslie for your response. If the weather is as bad down there in NW Missouri as it is here in NW Illinois, I expect it will be awhile before you can get in there. Thanks for whatever you find.

RE: Rawlings Photo request
I believe the Clerk's name is Cheryl Owen. I've called her a couple of times but apparently the records were kept haphazardly years ago. She doesn't have records for some people who actually have stones. I believe Benjamin Rawlings and John & Nancy McDonald are some of those so I'm hoping it's true of the rest of the family as well. By the way, may I use your photo on my tree at I would be sure to give you credit.

RE: Rawlings Photo request
Thank you very much for Benjamin's photo! I'm not sure about Minnie--he had a daughter named Mary. I'm looking for his wife Charlotte (Lottie) and her sisters, Mary "Polly" McDonald (I have their obituaries stating they are in Hamburg cemetery) and Elizabeth Crowder (Iowa cemetery records record her as buried in Hamburg also). Charlotte & Polly's mother and brother, Nancy & John McDonald are in Hamburg cemetery and are on Find A Grave. The records were poorly kept and I'm finding there are quite a few burials not recorded. I would be interested in any McDonald's, Rawling's, Crowder's, or Perisho's. I'm not in any hurry by any means, I'm just grateful for your assistance--it's been very hard to find someone to take photos in this cemetery. Thank you again!

On a farmer's ground off of State Hwy A, west of Watson. You have to walk in about 1/4 mile. Full of trees and in bad shape.

Just wanted to say thank you for the photo of Elizabeth Bennett Frazier's grave marker for Find A Grave Memorial# 115035710.

As time permits, can you get a photo without any shadows on the surface.

Thank You.

RE: El Paso Cemetery
The Cox Chapel Cemetery is located in section 1, of Buchanan West Township. In the extreme northwest corner of Atchison County, Missouri. Nothing remains of this cemetery. It was located in the middle of a farm field. The headstones that I photographed are all located in a shed on the Ivan Woltemath farm, near where the cemetery was located.

Hi! I am Sandy Thompson from The bluffs east of Watson. I see that you are just as interested in taking photos of stones as I am! I have been very busy lately and not able to go to the cemeteries. I always wanted to find Addington, but never did! I see you have! I don't suppose we could meet sometime to try to add photos in F.A.G. from other cemeteries? I got most of the ones in High Creek, because it is just down the road from me! There is also a Steiner cemetery just north of High Creek! It is in a pasture and needs work. Any chance that you might be interested in meeting?

The memorial picture shows death in August. The Find A Grave memorial shows Sep. Can you tell me which is correct? Maybe they are contradicting each other? Gail
