Hi Mike, yes he is a distant/collateral relative.

My interest is really giving the Civil War veterans a compelling and complete history of their service. His history/lineage has a great impact on the Boyce line of descendants.

I am a writer and graphic designer, so I am constantly enhancing and updating information. I want each memorial to look like a page out of history.

It's up to you. I would gladly give David's memory the best of my effort and attention.

best regards, marilyn

Hello
It has been quite some time since I last talked to you. :) I'm not sure if you remember me but we both share the Stoddard family line and the same family genealogy book "Fig Tree in Zion" by Mary Ellen & Kathryn Stoddard.

Well, I just so happened to stumble upon your Appleby - Kingman tree on ancestry!! haha I see you have Jackson Alexander Burgess (1854-1929) in your tree? I must ask, how are you related!? Jackson is my husband's 2nd Great Grandpa. Our last name is Burgess.

Thank you for your kindness and watching over them! I am not related, was helping someone else with their work and shared the outcome here. The empey.ca website has a lot of information as does the online book https://archive.org/details/storyofdundasbei00cartuoft Would you like some Smyths also? Best regards, Lee

Thanks Mike! You are too kind!

I linked up the family that you mentioned. I do not know what happened in 1747. I have been asked this before. I looked up the inscriptions, and the stones do not mention smallpox, and if that is what it was, it would state so on the stones. I could not find anything in the Bridgewater History book either. Another mystery...

RE: SIngleton
You're welcome :) My camera died when I went to photograph, it was so odd, as it was working fine the day before....so I reverted to my cell phone, which isn't the best camera. I also added photos of some other Singletons that were right next to their markers, Mary and a John Calvin I think. Have a good day.

Aquilla Hill
Hi!

I noticed you placed flowers on Aquilla Hill's page. I was wondering if you had any idea who his parents were. I've hit roadblock after roadblock with him. Every time I search him, I seem to be forced to either pay or it gives me what little I knew-that he came from England, and that he died in Whitley County, where my family is from. I don't seem to have it written down anywhere either. Thanks!
