RE: R.G. Bryant
Maybe he is one of those people like the character B.J. Hunnicutt on the M*A*S*H tv show. There was no name, only initials! Maybe someone will come up with the answer someday.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Happy Thanksgiving,

R.G. Bryant
Hello! I am going to accept your link to his wife, but I was wondering, do you have any idea what his first and middle names are? The Calif. death index, like the cemetery record, only has his initials!

Thank you for your information.

RE: Schiminger
Hi Tom, you may have noticed that I added a John and Joseph Schiminger who both died in infancy. There is also another marker that looks related but is very hard to read. It is a Victoria Reyla___? who was born 1/19/185? and died Jan 22, 19??.
I would have emailed it to you but you don't have an address posted.
Let me know if you know who it is.

Anna Breffka
Hi Tom,
I made an edit suggestion for your entry for the name of Anna Schiminger-Breffka (Memorial# 104986709) because a search by name for Anna Breffka did not bring up a result. There was then a later duplicate entry for her because her name didn't come up as Breffka.
Her maiden name was Komenda.
I hope this will clear up some confusion--on my part anyway!

Find A Grave Memorial# 110682440
Hi Tom, I am wondering if you have additional information for Noland Cox, one of your memorial records. I am looking to find if his wife Mabel Margaret Stevens Cox is laid to rest in Rose HIll Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown as well. Any insights you might be able to provide are appreciated. Thank you. Julie

Act Mast Alfred Lubaugh Bernier Zerega
Find A Grave Memorial# 55892998

Since the naming conventions of FindAGrave are:

Last Name as you would find it on the tombstone

I am unable to accept your edit to change his surname to di Zerega as his surname on his stone is Zerega.

There have been many discussions about surnames in the forums recently and how the rule is to use what is on the stone.

You can find the forums here:

RE: Gill Family Cemetery, Miskimon, Northumberland County
They are all correct, two of them lay across the road from each other, they are on private property, and I have not been able to get in touch with the owner yet. He has no trespassing signs up all over the place. but you can see them on Google earth.

William and Catherine Given graves
Tom, thanks so much for letting me know about having William and Catherine in the wrong cemetery. Someone had given me a picture of their gravestone and wrote on the back "Ford City Cemetery," so that's why I believed they were buried there. I assume that "Manor Cemetery," what was written on their death certificates, refers to what is now Appleby Manor Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Ford City. Anyway, thanks for the correction.

I can ask my mom how he got his nick name, I know she told me at one time but I can't remember. Who are his children and who are his grandchildren, I know he died a lonely man, he lived here in Elbon with Maude Shugars for a while.

Thanks for adding my grandmother's 1943 passport picture. I had never seen a photo of her from that period. It looks like I'm looking in a mirror..... Many many thanks. It has made me and my children very happy.
