|Gary Hancharik||William Parfons|
Thank you for sponsoring William's memorial. On closer inspection of the photo of his tombstone, I found that ?"I had his name misspelled so I changed it from Parsons to Parfons. I must have been fatigued when I created the memorial and my brain defaulted to Parsons.

And thanks for posting it! Not all owners of the memorials will do that.

|Laurie LaPage||Betsey Simonds/Riverside Cemetery|
Hi, Nancy, I received an automatic notification of your request for photos of your sister's and nephew's gravestones. I live in the area and often take photos as a volunteer for Riverside Cemetery. I remember the terrible accident when you lost your sister and nephew, and the injuries to her husband Robert, and I believe the young sons. It was a tragic blow to our communtity. I am so sorry,tho' belatedly,for your loss. I will try to fulfill your requests, however, we are under a fresh 6" of snow and I'm not sure I can do it until Spring or a good thaw! I will keep an eye out for an opportunity as well as checking to see if your request has been met by some other volunteers here in the northern NY area. If there is anything else I can do for you, let me know. Take care, Laurie LaPage

I actually found quite a bit more. Their other daughter was Florence, not Florena.

Hi Nancy, I have some additional information about the Carver family that you can add to your memorials. I found the 1900 census record on Ancestry for Joseph M Carver and Margaret and they had another daughter born in Nov 1886 named Florena A. Carver. Also from that census record I have that Margaret was born in October of 1844. Apparantly Eugene had a wife named Ella S. born Dec 1866 before he died and she was living with Joseph M. and Margaret with her two children Raymond R. Carver born Mar 1894 and Fred E. born Sep 1896. I also found links on Find A Grave for the other Guenthers who are not linked on your page and thought that might be nice to have. Raymond O. Guenther is buried in Lindenwood Cemetery, as are many of the other Guenthers. Let me know if you need more clarification on this information.
