I will go through my records. I do know her grandparents raised her but I believe in our research, we found records. I'll be in touch soon!

George R. Brookhart
I got the pics per your request for George R. Brookhart's grave. His stone is sunken a whole foot into the ground! That is not normal. A lot of stones get sunken a bit due to our long rainy winters here in Portland but not that much. Something under the ground must have caused his to sink a lot more than normal like that.

I went to the office of Sparkman Hillcrest and they have no record of the Brookharts. Sorry I could help you out.

The cemetery had not been cleaned yet for spring when we were there. We will try to get back out again and possibly get a better photo for you - although the stone appears to have sunken considerably.

Did you by chance take a picture of Zelmas marker seen you were maintaining it. Her daughter married one of my sons.
Thanks for you time?

RE: Isaac Russell Wells married Elizabeth Kaiser

Thanks for the offer of the census record, but I have access, so it's not necessary. I do my best to be as accurate as possible in all of my data, and when I can't prove something, I question it. Hope you were not offended.

I have made the link to Elizabeth Kaiser, I sure would like to see proof of this marriage, and or his divorce from his first wife.

PLEASE: A burial location is needed to fill your photo request. The Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) office will not readily provide locations to volunteers. Please call them at 214-363-5401 and they will be glad to help you. The SH office is open on Saturday and Sunday. Let me know the location and I will be honored to fulfill your request, typically within a day or two. If you created the memorial and prefer to edit the memorial to show the plot location, that would be fine as I check the SH photo requests regularly as do other volunteers. Thanks for your assistance.

Forgot to mention that I left some edits for you to connect Elizabeth to her parents and connect her with her line.

Hate to admit that it was accidental, but it was! I was researching the Waller/Ruff family and low and behold there were the Brookhart's as well.

So glad to help close the loop for you.

Best, Wendy.

Walter was married to his first wife, Mary, over 50 years and had a spot next to her already when she died in 1956. I believe Minnie was buried next to her 1st husband as they also already had a lot together. I think she is buried there and nobody was responsible to get the dates on the stone. I could be wrong. The cemetery office probably can confirm but I am going to the library and getting a copy of her obituary and I will also try to get the information from her death cert. If I find them I will add them to the memorial for you. Thanks for the inquiry.

RE: Jerusha Peck
Yes, there is a Maple Lawn in Elba and one in East Bethany. The East Bethany memorial is the earlier one, the one with the photo, and thus probably the correct one.

You have made a photo request for Jerusha Peck, Maple Lawn Cemetery, Genesee County, New York. The memorial you accessed is a duplicate-- see memorial # 27616406 for a photo of the gravestone.
