Swiety Michal Archaniol

Thanks so much for all your hard work! You translated my great-grandfather's tombstone (Find A Grave Memorial# 40654728) in PA.
But what I really want to know relates to his father, whose info you entered in the Swiety Michal Archaniol cemetery, from Poland. Memorial # 80776740

I was just wondering how you got all this info and if the source is available for me to do additional geneology research.

Thanks again,

Mary Beth

Possibly Steffy
Tks for the input, I posted the photo/memorial to get the cemetery finished. However, I am still researching and need to do rubbings on this one and others. I can find no Jan Stefy/Steffy per census records/obit and family searches...still working it thanks again.

John Bowan
Did you want me to transfer management of his memorial to you. That would be no problem.

Mary Steck
Are there two Mary Capp Bowan's. I assume Mary Steck was the daughter of Mary Bowan (1868 - 1940) and John Bowan (1859 - 1942). The Mary Capp Bowan listed was born in 1907, after Mary Steck was born.

I uploaded a photo that I took of the gravestone for Eva Prpich to the memorial page for Eva Prpich that you manage. I took the photo in Section E of Saint Joseph Cemetery in Council Bluffs.

I can't be 100% certain that the gravestone is in fact for the person of your memorial page, because the page only has a birth date listed and that is actually 2 years prior to the birthday on the gravestone. However, since slight discrepancies in birth dates are not uncommon in genealogy, and since the name is uncommon, I decided to go ahead and upload the photo to your page instead of creating a new page.

I thought I would let you know that I uploaded the picture, in case this is a person that you are actively researching.

Hi K- From John D. Rossiter's memorial I can't link to his children, only parents & spouse. But since I had everything open, I noted the memorial numbers of John & Elizabeth and then asked the managers of Edward's memorial to link Edward to his parents. It may take another day or so. I love the Rossiter monument at St. Patrick's! -Jackie

You posted this man as being buried in the Calvary Cemetery in Portage, Indiana. He was killed in a Kamikaze attack on the USS Nashville CL-43 on December 13, 1944 during the Liberation of the Philippines. Do you have his location in the Cemetery? Checkout the website for the history of the ship. My father was a Marine serving aboard the Nashville and I am working on the learning the burial location of the men killed that day or died of their wounds.

Frank Seaman
Thank you for posting the Seaman grave site. Here is some additional information if you want to put on the memorial and family links:
Frank Seaman
b/ 4 Nov 1894 d. Nov 1959
married Mary Greiner (b. 1894 d. 1925) on 23 Jul 1920
His parents were Michael John Seaman Sr. (memorial #26225644) and Mary M Bainos( other spelling - Banas)

May I have permission to include my family grave photos in my father's legacy book?

Thank you

Holy Trinity
Just a quick note, I have finished adding names and photos to Holy Trinity Cemetery. I think I photographed about 99% of the markers. You can reconcile the data with the photos at your leisure. Thank you for your time and contributions to Find A Grave.

Made the connection with her father, Adam Racich. Confused with the Brennan name...previous marriage. Hope I made the correct connection. Thanks for the request...I like making the connections.

Hi K.,

I put your note about her conflicting birth dates in the bio section. Once we come across her gravestone, it will be interesting to see what was inscribed. Right now it is tooooo hot for me! Hopefully some better days coming.

Cheers back to you,
in Amherst, NH

RE: Barbara & Mary Sarach in Phoenix Cemetery
You are very welcome. I stumbled upon this cemetery by accident one day and started doing a bunch of research on the town and the area. Then found the online transcription and decided to add it to findagrave. I am glad it was some help to you.
