RE: Cecille Perry Reed
The daughter "Cecil"'s marker has writing on two other sides of it but they are illegible. There are visible, at least 6 rocks as headstones around the granite marker for Garrett.

Sarah E Crane at First Presbyterian
I mistakenly posted a photo of the grave of the wrong Sarah Elizabeth Crane to her memorial. That removed it from the list of requests even though I deleted the photo.

If there is a grave for the Sarah Crane you wanted, it might not be locatable except by chance since the record of burials the church uses is a book of transcriptions of tombstones that existed in 1892. There are no other records. If she died after 1892, there is no record of where she is buried.

The same goes for Julia, since she died in 1912. There is no record of where she is buried.

N Martin Crane's grave is next to the Ballard family vault. The tombstone might no longer be there, but next time I'm there I will check. I'll also check to see if Sarah and Julia are buried near N Martin.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

If he is, there is no marker. When I go to take pictures for F-A-G, I generally take a picture of all the same last name markers in the general area. Around her is: Alonzo, Elizabeth K., Evelyn V., George J. & Barbara M., Harry & Shirley, and Ralph & Grace Nelson.

Franklin Alonzo Nelson
The last thing I have on Franklin Alonzo Nelson is his World War II Draft Registration, dated 25 April 1942. Written in his own hand. He uses Alonzo as his first name and Franklin as his middle name, living at 102 5-1/2 Street in Baltimore, Maryland. His birth date and place is, 27 Jan 1880 in Edgar County, Illinois, USA. He's white, 5'9-1/2", 165 lbs., with a light complexion, eyes are blue and hair is brown and gray. The person who will always know where he is, is son George Nelson who lives at 1327 Forrest Road - Sparrow's Point and works at Bethlehem Steel.

Prentices at Wolfen Cem NY
Went out to this cemetery today. Found a stone that says 'Harriet' wife of Henry, died 1819 but no Hannah. Is it possible the name was transcribed wrong? I hestitate to post it without letting you know first. No large stone for Henry but two amsl stone with initials H P in front of Harriets's stone, one on each side of Truman Prentice.

Please let me know if you want the pictures posted.

RE: Eliza Deakins
I made that photo of Eliza and a lot of others some time ago. I just haven't gotten them all posted yet. I do have a photo of Thomas Walter Rodgers 7 Nov 1871 - 2 Jan 1952 but I cannot attest to the proximity of his marker to that of Eliza. Do you know if that is the right one? If so you can go ahead and enter him. There are a lot of Rodgers burials in that cemetery.

I went to Forest Hills Cemetery this afternoon to try to fulfill as many photo requests as I could (there are currently 50+ for this cemetery), but I was disappointed to learn that the office will look up the plot location of two names for free, but charge a prohibitively high fee of $15 for every two names after the first two. I wasn't able to take pictures for you this weekend, but I imagine if you call the Forest Hills Cemetery office during business hours (617.524.0128) or send them an email ( can give you the plot locations for free over the phone. If you find out the plot location, I'll be happy to photograph the headstone for you.
