RE: Louis Balot
Hi! Hope your holidays went well. When I contacted you about the Prager family research that your grandson was probably working on, I wondered if you knew if someone else had taken up the quest?
Did you get your pictures? I have some cousins buried @ the National Cemetery @ Rittman, O.

Louis Balot
Hi!. First let me send you my condolences. I do, however, have a question. Was Louis the one working on the Prager family geneology on Rootsweb? I'm a member of that clan and wanted to bring my branch more up-to-date. If it wasn't him, would you have any idea who it might be?
Regardless, know that your loss is acknowleged.

Take care,

Wendy Larsen Carn

LAURA IONE MILLER WEBER also shows in Forest Hills in Montgomery County. Posted by another individual.
I do Military Funeral Honors and have visited most cemeteries in the Bucks and Montgomery counties area.

Forest Hills
I know of no Forest Hills in Bucks County, which is Bensalem. The Forest Hills in Montgomery County is to the north of the intersection of Philmont Ave and Byberry Road.
Could you send me the name of the friend you mentioned. I'll check their interment location.

Hi Hilda, I went in this morning to add Michael to the site and see you have added. Thank you! I did send you a correction but wanted to make sure it reached you clearly. You accidentally linked Michael to his grandparents. I 'think' I requested the fix correctly through Find A Grave. His father is still living and I submitted to you the link for his mother who is buried next to Michael. I spoke at his funeral yesterday - he was my cousin. I would, like if possible, to manage his memorial. If not, that's fine as well. I added a couple of photos and may add more. Thanks, Dan Cowgill

RE: Adding siblings
There is no way of directly adding siblings to a memorial page. If either of the parents are deceased, you can click on "link family member" and add the deceased parents memorial page number to the page. Likewise, if his spouse is deceased, then you can link her to his memorial page using the same link. If all siblings and spouse are still alive, I would suggest clicking on the "Edit Bio" button to add a narrative that would directly describe who his surviving family members are. Best Wishes!

Hi Hilda, I checked the memorial and all of this information is already on the memorial. I checked it word for word? Not sure what else you want me to add? I think I added this additional information the last time you emailed me? If I missed something, let me know. I want it to be correct.

Hi Hilda, If you will send me exactly what you want on this memorial, I will change it completely? Sorry for the loss of your friend. I did add a few lines that you sent in your first request, but I'm at a loss as to what I need to add or delete, just let me know.

Hi Hilda, Your Find A Grave Memorial # 115024184 on Wanda June Thomas Ploss that you made on August 6, 2013 is a duplicate. It was originally made on September 20, 2012 by Ruth (Wilson) Lowell. You can view it:

Her husband has now passed away & I've linked them together.

RE: Wreaths across America 12-14-13
Sure! I've taken photos after this ceremony before and the pictures are really beautiful with all of the wreaths. I'll also tell Louis that you really wanted to be there but couldn't make it do to an illness. I'm there in your place. I'm sure he already knows. I haven't lost a son yet but I certainly can imagine the difficulty that your facing. I have a son with a seizure disorder and helplessly watching him convulse haunts me every time it happens. I often go to this cemetery to fulfill other requests and I'm often in his section so it won't be a problem at all.

Louis Balot's Photo
I deleted the original grave site photo and added one with the grass in the background. I don't understand but it pushed a family photo behind the gravesite photos. You may want to rearrange the photos so the grave site photos are shown last. Best Wishes!

RE: LCDR Louis H. Balot, III
Even though I never personally met him,I had some correspondence with your son on Find A Grave. I completed some photo requests for him and even completed one of his photo requests after he passed away. I knew that as another find a grave volunteer, I wanted to make sure he was remembered as well. I plan on retaking his photo, and deleting the original once they've put grass on the area. I was there yesterday and noted that they've planted grass for everyone in his area for numbers 300 and above (he's in burial site 218). I'm sure that his grass will be planted in the next several weeks. Do you want me to send you several different photos of his burial area once the grass is down? I go there at least twice a week fulfilling photo requests and I'm often in his section so it wouldn't be a problem. At Christmas time, it is beautiful there. Each year in December, they have a wreath placing ceremony on every grave. If you look at the memorial for Charles Tate, you can see what it looks like. If you remind me in December, I'll get a picture of his grave after the wreath has been placed. Best Wishes and I'm sorry for your loss.
