RE: Cousins!!
I am SO sorry it has taken me this long to respond to you! I am very excited to have a new cousin, too! I have very few living relatives any more, so finding you is wonderful.

I want to write much more, but it is 4am here, and I really have to go to sleep. I have been working night and day on a political campaign, but I should have a break, I think, for the next couple of days. If I do, I will definitely email you.

Take care, Cousin!

RE: Emery and Emma
Forgot to mention... Emma's sister, Maggie, was my great grandmother. We may be relatively :) closely related!

Emery Arthur Stone # 11533161
Hi, Patricia,
I am the great grandniece of Emma Jones who was married to Emery. Since you had his memorial transferred to you, I am hoping that you are a relative and can tell me the source of the biographical information on his memorial. Was it possibly personal knowledge, family lore or records, or some combination thereof? ^o^
I am working on my family tree and want to be sure that I get my facts straight, so any information you could provide regarding sources for either Emery's or Emma's memorials would be appreciated so much!

Thank you,

RE: Lois (Faris) Stone
You are welcome. I think most of the large number members, but not all of course, are of that controlling mentality. I have a cousin who worked at a city hall and had access to every grave site in the local cemetery. She entered every site possible under her membership and now you have to go to her and obtain permission to edit any of them.

E-mail? Yes, of course. My wife has very limited contact with any of her Faris line and is wanting new or confirming information. Isn't Findagrave wonderful? Puts you in contact with new found family! I have found several cousins this way who are interested in family. Larry

Lois (Faris) Stone
Here is the editing information I promised you.

Father: # 39611115 Mother # 39611172 Born in Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., WY Died in Pinedale, Sublette Co., WY For the bio section: Four known children.

Her father was the brother of my wife's grandfather, Blaine Logan Faris # 17665047, both sons of Lafayette Faris # 70345665. As I said, your linage is much closer than my wife's, so I have no problem whatsoever of your not transferring.

It's the Findagrave members that are just running up a "look at me" number count and will not assist you with your family history that I have a problem with. First of all, Findagrave is to memorialize our family that has passed on. Then it can be used as a very good tool for family history purposes. Enough of my soap box. Happy gravin'. Larry

RE: Lois and Harve Stone
Not a problem. That means he was you direct paternal uncle. His wife was a cousin through her mothers uncle, so you are much closer than we are. I will be sending you some editing information, probably tomorrow. Larry

Yes, it's me. I don't think I have anyone buried there. Thanks for asking.
