RE: Shook family
Arlene Shook Nicol is my grandchildren's grandmother along with Bob Nicol the grandfather.

Igot most of my info on the Nicol side etc from Bob who was doing all of the families also.
I do have the Shook's back to 1766 in Maryland and Indiana.

my email is smithdot84@gmail.com

I had an email from Rosie Shook just the other day.
We do keep in touch along with Kim Zacha.

One thing I did find was there was a David Shook who was a Loyalist with 1F/2children who mustered out in Digby, NS 19 May 1784.
And in 1801 there was still 4 in the family.

What I love is that John Shook 1766 married a Arrana Porter b 1767 also in Maryland.

My mother was a Porter and no one and I mean even those born in the early 1800's knew where or who is parents were.

hi constance - I filled your request for Mary Shook and while I was there I found her buried next to another Shook or two. I uploaded the picture for Earl. It was a better shot than the one you had. Just wanted to let you know so if you wanted to delete the bad one you might do so. I think I also saw and photographed one for Ezra Shook? I will look and see if he is listed here and upload that photo as well. It was a pleasure looking up your relatives and ancestors. have an awesome day. Sincerely, Dori

RE: Alfred H. Deal
Hello -

I have no idea, I do live in Indiana and have been in this cemetery, but only twice.

It was by happenstance that Alfred was found.

This is not my family linage at all, just a bit of genealogy to pass on to another researcher.

Enjoy,

Gaye Hill

RE: Abraham Deal #91906277
Hi- I did some searching on Ancestry however I turned it over to you and cant put it in. Abraham was b. 24 Apr 1824 Pa. and he married a Julia Black on 13 Mar 1845. She was born in Ind. on 1828. They had at least 4 children Susan b. 1850 In.- Charles b. 1855 In.- Alfred b. 1858 In. and Missouri b. 1852 In. So probably Jacob and Mary were both borned in Philly, Pa.
Hope this helps.

I am related to her mother, of the Worcester family.

RE: Marjorie Wilkerson
Sometimes a bit confusing, I know. I also added a few other Wilkerson's that appear to all be part of the family unit....all buried in same general plot etc. Not my family, but in doing a couple of shoots for others in Lone Pine, I always take a few extra's and these were part of that. It all helps us and others to put the pieces together!
