Hi Larry,

Thank you Larry. I didn't mean to confuse you before but sometimes I confuse myself. LOL

RE: Samuel Hains
Larry, I'm sorry that I didn't give you enough details of what I was referring to. You have Samuel Hains 1795-1879 on Find A Grave that should be spelled Haines as it is on the headstone and also Cathareine Auldendaufer Hains 1794-1877. Her maiden name was Altenderfer and then Haines. I just thought you would want it spelled the same as what is on the headstones. I'm sorry if I confused you. I didn't take notice if it was listed twice or not. I was only referring to what you put on there.

Samuel Hains
You have Samuel's surname spelled Hains but on his headstone it is Haines. Not sure which is correct but just wanted to let you know. Saint Johns Cemetery, Leesport, Berks, PA.

RE: Laureldale Cemetery
If you have a picture of the inscription naming Horace and his wife, that would be nice to have.
On the Schroeder stone, if you are ever out there again, maybe you could just tell me what it says there below the leaves.

Laureldale Cemetery
Thank you for all those great photos. Did you make note of what the Schroeder stone said at the bottom where it is hidden by weeds?
How did you determine that the Zukor/Smith stone marked the grave of Horace and Sarah Smith?
Much appreciation,
Carl Bennett
Escondido, CA

mEMORIAL # 40948535 - Catherine Dennis Haines

I am the gggg granddaughter of Catharine Dennis Hains. I have a few questions: 1. Did the spelling of their name change from Haines to Hains? My information spells it with an e at the end.??? 2. Where, if I may ask, did you get all the information regarding Catherine Dennis Haines such as her birth, her parents names, and her childrens names? I only have the one daughter (Catherine Haines Delp) so I am quite excited about all the information that you have. My information also has Catherine Dennis Haines first name spelled as Kathryn. I am not questioning your information but would love to have your resources.

I know this is a lot but I thank you any info you can pass on.

With your last names of Haines, I am assuming we are related. I live in Arizona but so many of my family lines are traced back to Pennsylvania.
