I have sent edits for the correct spelling of her last name, LOCHNER, and her two nephews, last names LOCHNER, within the obit. I have also sent edits for her birthdate and place and death date and place; obit shows death place is Olathe, (which is Johnson County), Kansas.

RE: David E Brock
Or the last part should really reflect the age since he died in this era (early 1900s). Would be died: age XX years, XX months and XX days. Perhaps in this case, 34? years 9? months & 10? days?

RE: David E Brock
Floydene-

Thank you so much for the photo of David E. Brock stone!

Most of my research on this line of the family is comprised from census records which indicate that on the 1900 census David E. & Mary Josephine Brock had a son, William H. born in May 1874 in Kansas.

By 1910 census, most of the family moves off to California. William H. Brock does not appear in this census. I don't have any record of when he died.

Not sure what that last set of numbers, 9- 10 might be, but might depend on the type marker. Markers placed by community groups & city cemeteries may have a date when the stone was placed on a previously unmarked grave.

Regards,
Robin

There was a paper note posted on the gate with the bank in Tecumseh Oklahoma as the contact for that cemetery. I Googled the number and address for you.
First united bank

If they give you the location of the headstone, let me know and I will go back out there and take a picture.

RE: Lafayette Davis #52383109
Thank you for contacting me. You have presented a dilemma. Lafayette Davis's death certificate states that he did indeed die in Hickory county but is buried at Davis Cemetery. I am "nearly" sure that Davis is in Benton county and most of the burials there are those who died in Benton county. Since you have photo'd his marker at Cross Timbers Cemetery, I will move his memorial.
Do you think his DC was in error or is there a bigger mistake here? Thanks for your work!
Bobbie
