Thanks for the transfer! Also thank you for making the page in the first place. I was going to, but I wanted to get my cousin's permission first. So just as well you did it. Randee

I enjoy reading old newspapers (Library of Congress website) and matching the stories and articles to the memorials here on F-A-G. I have found quite an interesting article about Victor Carlstrom, the aviator, in the Evening Star (Washington, D.C.) of 11/2/1916. Mr. Carlstrom was quite the adventurer. There is also a picture of the aviator.
I thought you might like to see the article.

Thank you. I will give it a try. Do I do a regular e-mail or is it through my edit button? I can not send anything through the edit button now in the "Suggest any other corrections?

|Tom Spiegel||William Veit|
Thanks for the heads up on the duplicate on William Veit. I will delete the memorial I created but will get the person who took the headstone pics to add them to the earlier memorial before I go ahead with the delete.

Regarding the McCumber's, I don't know how to merge them with the others that came before mine. Doug has no way of being contacted. If I delete mine, which is more complete, then we are back to only their names and no more information or even the picture of their headstone. Any suggestions, other then leaving them as they are so relatives can see information from each memorial? Linda

Thank you!!! I had not found the second "twin". I did not realize that my Aunt Alice had deceased twin sisters.
I have adjusted my records.

Bill was a member of my Officer Candidate Class and was killed by NVA artillery fire on September 16, 1967. I was researching all the grave sites of the 44 members of my class and found that his was not recorded in the databases I was using. Thank you for you entry and now you can update it and add a picture of this Marine hero.

Thank you for letting me know. Perhaps you could add a note in the bio stating that he doesn't have a stone. I just didn't know if it was a mistake or intentionally that way. God bless ... and have a great day.

I think you posted the wrong picture for the grave of James F. Lord. I do not see in the picture that a tombstone for him is seen. Thank you!

I received a message from Find A Grave saying that the updates I requested to her page were accepted and changed. On my end, there have been no changes updated that I can see. Did you make changes to this page? Her headstone says 1905 for year of birth, her obituary says 1902. I am not sure which is correct.

|Sandra LaRochelle||THANK YOU|
Thank you so much for taking a picture of my grandmother's grave (Phyllis I. Ford). I was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 when she passed away. I will never forget talking to her right before she passed away and telling her how much I loved her. I never got the opportunity to go to her funeral or visit her grave, but seeing this really makes me feel better. Thank you so much for taking the time to go out to the cemetery to take this picture of the woman whom made me the woman that I am today.

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am presently working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers" Jerome Loucks is one such patriot. May I use the photo of his burial site, which you contributed to his Find A Grave Memorial, to post on the Vt. C.W. site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
