In 2011 you have duplicated a lot of memorials that I created in 2009 of my family.

Glenwood Cemetery
I find that you created a virtual grave for my Dad, Willard McDaniel, which is redundant. The preferred grave site was created in 2007 and I have added to it. I have no idea why a stranger would create a grave site like this when if they simply would look first. Please remove.

John J. Davis in Red Bluff Cemetery
Debra,
There are two men by the name of John J. Davis buried in Red Bluff Cemetery. You have the one who died in 1932 (husband of Innah Waller Davis) as the son of Arthur and Mary Davis. Do you know how the other John J. Davis, who died in 1949, is related to them? Thank you.
Jennifer

George Hughes
Me again, I noticed that there are no dates shown for George Hughes, I am fairly confident this my great-grandfather and the father of Doug Hughes in the same cemetery. He should be George Leon Hughes, and he is the son of George D. Hughes buried in Soperton.

Douglas Hughes
Mrs. Debra, I am trying to find a marker for Douglas and Dorothy Hughes. They are buried in the Mount Vernon cemetery. I am trying to piece my family tree together. I am a grandson of them and it would mean a lot to me and the rest of us. She passed in 06 I am not sure of his date of death but I am thinking it was around 80 or 81.

Thank you,
Chris Thorpe

J. R. Duggan, #80369698
Debra, do you know anything about this man? I am pretty sure he was my mother's cousin who died (I believe) in a nursing home in Vidalia in May of 1941. My oldest aunt told me he had no immediate family, so he was buried in Vidalia. He was the only child of Benjamin and Amanda Duggan. For some reason I have a photo of his grave marker. It is not a good one at all, so I cannot even make out his birth year. It looks like 1868, and I am going to check the census records to verify that. If you have no real connection to him, I would appreciate it if you would transfer his memorial to me. I actually have a photograph of him which I will also add to the memorial. If you live in Vidalia, I would really appreciate a better photo of his grave than the one I have. I have no idea who took this one. I have never been in a cemetery in Vidalia. Thanks so much.

Goodwin instead of Godwin
Hello Debra Fennell:

Please correct the spelling of a name and a gender error on Grave Memorial # 69617692.
The correct spelling is James Goodwin instead of Godwin. And I apologize if I'm the guilty
party that spread the wrong spelling.

The same applies to Memorial # 69617672. The correct spelling is Fannie E. Goodwin instead of Godwin.

See both burials are listed on page 115 in Graves of Montgomery, Treutlen, and Wheeler, by Moses M. Coleman, Jr., and Lavon Stone Palmer

Thanks
Robert Calhoun

Aleck Denton
Debra,
Thank you for posting all of these records. Many of my ancestors are from the area.
The record of Aleck Denton intrigues me. I believe he was my g-grandmother's half-brother. My g-grandmother was Lucy Denton who married John Wiley Adams. I believe the newspaper article should read Wash (not Watt) Denton (as his father). I have not seen this obituary; but I have a copy of an article from 1910 when Wash and Carrie were married. Aleck's full sister, Lillie Mae, later lived with her half-brother Willam "Bud" Denton, a son of Wash's from his first marriage to Amanda "Mandy" (I'm not sure about her maiden name but believe it was Minton). Wash's first family does not appear to be mentioned in the obituary you have.

Jennifer
