Children of George and Barbara Anderson

Wow that is great that you found them. Currently there is a couple working taking pictures for find a grave. They are doing the Mt. Pleasant cemetery. I am sure when the weather is nice they will be back at it taking pictures . In the mean time I will see if one of the historial societies has the Mt. pleasant records.

You can call them 724 - 547 7800

RE: George and Barbara Anderson
I don't have a listing for them in our cemetery pictures yet. My friend and I are working on Middle cemetery which is in Mt. Pleasant not far from that area. I found a stone 1797. We hope to be done with that in the next few weeks. It is very hard to due the to the dates of the tombstones. But heck I found a 1797 one. So you never know. Do you know where any of the children are buried?

RE: Janice Rae Kester
I do not recall seeing a marker for Janice but I will in the next week or so go to the cemetery and see if she is buried there. It is only about a mile from where I live and since I am usually there every couple of weeks it won't be a problem.

You're welcome, John. It took a little playing with the camera angle and exposure to get this one.

The weather did finally co-operate. As I get older, it gets harder to tolerate the cold. NOTE-I've also got a photo of Abner Talcott's stone if you want it.

You're very welcome, John. Yes, Inglewood is like a small city, need a road map to venture there. Up to about 400,000 internments now. Many unique areas though.

RE: Harvey Sage
Happy to help with the Sage/Ramsay, and the third side was Smith. The cemetery records on line have only RamsEy so I added where I found individual stones-Luna and JS.

Glen Haven, Winter Park, FL
I'm sending you this message because I see you have a photo request for Glen Haven in Winter Park. This cemetery refuses to provide a plot location, citing "invasion of privacy" and requires a notarized letter from the family to provide information which is usually freely given upon request by every other cemetery I've been to. This is SO frustrating for photo volunteers, and those simply requesting a photo of a grave.

I just sent an email to the Florida Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association in Tallahassee to complain about Glen Haven's refusal to provide plot locations, and how they treat volunteers. Perhaps something can be done if enough people complain.

Their website is and the email address I sent it to is:

RE: Charles and Freeda Dyson
Thanks for getting the information! I will be over there either this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon! (not sure what hubby has planned yet!) But, that is one of the easiest to look in! So, I couldn't be happier! The only one easier is Sunset Garden. Which is very small, one circle and level. Level is not a word used in any other section of Sylvania Hills! Hence the name!!
I will post it as soon as I can.
