And, I should hasten to add, through a second brother, Henry Irving Hershman. All three brothers were Civil War veterans.

RE: Hershman
Frederick is in the 1860 census for Hampden Township, Cumberland County, by his middle name Logan. I linked him through his brother Armstrong Irving Hershman to William & Rebecca (Wilson) Hershman.

Memorials 113685706 & 113683342 appear to be the same, but with slightly different dates. Thought you would want to know.

Hi Kit,
There is a Findagrave memorial for David Smith. It is 93209515. I took pictures for his memorial a few years ago. I hope this is helpful.

Thank you.

Can you tell me in what town the cemetery is located, as the listing only renders Kennebec County? Thanks.

RE: Eliza Crosley Ulrich
I cannot access my Leech files while I'm away, however, I'm fairly certain her maiden name can be found on the death certificate of Ida Leech and possibly others.

RE: Dietz Photo Request
I only ask because census info seems to point to two Harry E Dietzes of similar age, both married to an Annie. I've found and photographed the stones for the Dietzes I previously asked you about, hers does include Althoff in the inscription.

The plot also contains Harry E's parents, Margaret Y and Alexander, as well as likely children of Harry and Annie, Edward A and Nina Eva.

If this fits with the family history as you know it let me know, I'll go ahead and upload the photos for your requests.

Dietz Photo Request
Is it possible that Ann Elizabeth Althoff Dietz, Nov. 24, 1865 - May 5, 1944 could actually be
Annie Althoff Dietz, 1867 - 1923,

and her husband, Harry Ellsworth Dietz,
Dec., 1875 - Apr. 24, 1908 could actually be
Harry Edward Dietz, 1874 - 1907 ?

RE: Getchell
The thing that I am interested in is her last name. Her husbands middle name and he went by this was Freeman. I'm not sure if this is her last name. Would be weird if it was. Thanks for the photo's and correction. Kim
