Hi Lynn, my name is David and you are the contributor, to find-a-grave, for one of my cousins. William Max Dillard (Memorial # 98228318). If you don't have a connection, would you mind transferring his memorial to me? I would like to connect him to his Mother and the rest of his family. Thank you.

William Prentiss Clark
William Thomas Brown, Jr
Thanks again,
For taken and posting the photo.

I was exploring the William Thomas Brown Sr, and now I seek to find out who his spouse was / the mother of William Thomas Brown Jr, I see an Effie Brown. is listed in the same Cemetery with a few years younger.. So if on the same grave marker (Double headstone) with William Thomas brown Senior or beside his grave, I could assume it is the right one?

Carolyn Allen
Charlie P. McCarty
That is a kind offer but you should continue to manage that page you created . I would be such a distant relative . Charlie P. McCarty's grandfather Reuben McCarty was the father of my great great grandmother Priddy , Carrie B. McCarty Priddy the mother of my paternal grandmother . Reuben's half sister Sarah Caroline McCarty Estes was my great grandmother . Sarah Caroline was my mother's paternal grandmother .Isn't it interested out twisted genealogy can get sometimes ? My paternal grandmother used to tease mother and daddy about being kin to one another , but how the ancestry lines crisscrossed was too far back and remote to interfere with the young and sustained love of my parents for each other .

Correction Request 01.2015
John Teague McCoy did not go by the name J.T.

J.T. was John Teague, Jr.
John Teague McCoy went by John Teague.

I know this because this is my grandmother's dad and since she raised me, this is what I always heard.

I also knew Uncle J.T. (junior)and he never went by John Teague.

Please update the site notes for who the parents were to this baby to "John Teague and Sally".

Thank you for your updates.

Transfer Request
Hello Ms. Ellis,

If possible, could you transfer #96720366 Infant Son McCoy to me, Suzanne Presley #47978293.

This was the first child of my great grandparents, John and Sally McCoy.

Sally was more like a grandmother to me than a great grandmother.

Thank you for your consideration of my transfer request.

Traci's Mom
Token you left for Traci Fields
Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.

I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and other findagravers, so far today Traci has received 6,026 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and I extremely happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.

I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!

This is something I wrote for Traci:

It was a cold, quiet night at the cemetery. The snow was falling gently to the ground. The only sound that could be heard was the whistling of the wind. Off in the distance I suddenly heard the tiny sound of jingling bells. I looked around and wondered where the life was in the stillness of this cemetery.

As I gazed around, I saw a ray of moonbeam shining down on a small Christmas tree.

I thought to myself, "This is where the life is in the cemetery!"

Ring the bells this holiday season in memory of those you love.

Cheryl Calhoun
Pontotoc Mississippi Cemeteries
My father-in-law grew up I Pontotoc but he now lives in East Tennessee. He is 90 and can remember most things but not the name of the cemetery his mother and father are in. All he can tell me is the cemetery in town also known as Pontotoc Cemetery. His father is Clarence Smith and his mother is Nora Lee Camp Smith. His father died in 1967 and his mother in 1981. He is a vet having survived the sinking of the WWII USS Indianapolis He was honored in Pontotoc a couple of years ago. Any help you could give me in locating these graves and the name of the cemetery would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you again.
