Did you ever find info about the Methodist Church in Norene, TN? Before the city was named Norene, it was called "Henderson's Crossroads". You might want to check for records on Campbell Academy - a school established by a grant from two staunch Methodist men. Schools were often used as churches back then.

Hello again. I will be happy to send you what I have. Are you a descendant? I would love to get in touch with more descendants. Where do you want me to email them?

Hi Tony,

I live about 175 mi. from Brooks cemetery, but if I get over that way this summer, I will see if I can get a photo for you.

Re: Alexander A. Hill
I have searched the cemetery and was not able to find his tombstone. My mother and I photographed every stone in the cemetery. The notes I have on the cemetery state he is believed to be buried there in an unmarked grave. Sorry I really couldn't be of much help. If there is anyone else you need in or around my area in East Texas let me know. I will do my best to help you.
