I wondered the same thing. I didn't want to post a picture of a bunch of roses so I just updated the Plot information.

|Nathan Haines||RE: Shadrick Burcham|
I had to ask since once in a while the case of the one thing being right and alllll the other things being wrong happens but not very often as you can imagine. Usually the one thing that is "off" is the one thing that is not right.
Anyway, thanks for getting back to me.

THank you a million thank yous for finding out that he is indeed buried with his wife Carrie A - although not mentioned in the marker. I figured that may be the case with the Civil War military mark on the back of the marker. Someone I guess - dropped the ball and didn't add a plaque to the other side of the monument.
Thank you, thank you! I appreciate your work!

|Jana Ditmars||Charles F. Smith|
Thank you for adding the picture of the headstone for Charles F. Smith. Unfortunately, the dates don't match for the Charles Forrest Smith I'm looking for, but I appreciate the confirmation. Was his headstone located near other Smith's in the cemetery?

Thanks so much for determining with the cemetery that this burial is unmarked at this time. Hopefully the son will take care of this matter soon.
Have a wonderful day.

|Barbara Samans||Carrie Russell Caldbeck|
Thanks for trying. Thought she might be with her husband but he is with his first wife Sadie where he is. Carrie was the second wife after first one (Sadie0 died. Appreciate you looking ;)
re: There are two Caldbeck burials in City View, but none for Carrie Caldbeck. The Death certificate for her indicates she was cremated at Portland Memorial and her cremains may be at Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Mausoleum. I retrieved her death certificate to see if there was more information, but nothing more was given.

|Pam R.||Veva and Forest Poorman|
Thanks, Lyn, for the photos. Did you read the story about Veva and the Silver Lake, Oregon, fire of 1894? I have been working on making links to the people that died in the fire. My niece lives in Silver Lake and I have done a family tree for her that includes her great grandparents and grandparents who are buried in the Silver Lake Cemetery and thus my interest. They were not in the fire. I also belong to a few Facebook sites for Silver Lake and Harney County that are interesting and I borrow their photos and put on memorials. What have you been doing?

Thank you for trying to locate Dorothy's memorial. I left a note to the person on her memorial if they could add your note, so others will not keep requesting a photo and waste any other volunteers time. Much appreciated, Jessica
