Lois Switzler, Memorial# 149047874
In an effort to find the grave and take a photo, I checked with the cemetery superintendent, who advised Lois Switzler is not in the All Souls Cemetery, Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio.

Could she be in the All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio?

Deleted my McDermitt records all except for Austin. You didn't have him created so I changed the last name spelling to McDermott and added his death certificate. I put my picture on all of their records. You may want to add a note to all of them about the last name discrepancy.

Picture Requests in Calvary
Went and got your picture requests today. Laughlin's you had the locations backwards. I put through the changes for those. Maria McDermott is actually already entered in the system. The tombstone lists her as McDermitt. I created records for all the people on the stone in May of 2015. I will be happy to put my photo on your record of her and delete my record if you want. Let me know what you want me to do about the spelling discrepancy. As for Joseph Thompson, I need to verify with the office that it is unmarked. I'll do that this week, they weren't open today. Thanks for the walk on a cool but beautiful day today. I did 3 cemeteries and got in my 10,000 for the day.

Found him in Section N. Don't know how I missed him when I photographed it a long time ago. He was on the back of a stone and I had photographed the other side. Oh well - it was another nice day for walking. 70 degrees today. We won't have many more of these.

Your plot information says Section 7 can you find out from the office what letter section that is? My map shows sections all with Letters identifying them. thanks I hope to get out there this week.

Stufft Family
I noticed that you provided death certificates for some of the Stufft family from Cambria county. I'm the granddaughter of Robert (Bob) Stufft, son of Jacob and Barbara Stufft, and was wondering if you had any info to share. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day!

Greetings Jack,
I was unable to locate Helen's marker today although the section is marked pretty well. The only O'Brien I came up with is Anna Mary 4/16/1910-6/19/1953. I posted a photo on her memorial. I'll look again when I get back that way.

RE: Luther-Wintergreen
So sorry! I was going by the location they gave me at the cemetery and didn't double check the name. Next time I get up there I will look for Robert. Do you have a section number or a date of death?

Didn't even get to go walking for this one today, had taken it back in September - just haven't had the time to upload them yet.

The walk was gorgeous. After snow flurries here all weekend I couldn't wait to get out and walk in the sunshine.

covered sections
Let me go back and make sure. Mistakes happen and I've photoed 14000 graves so i could have missed them. I'll let you know.

RE: Northern Cambria
Funny... Maybe I should take up golfing. What an unproductive day yesterday. My wife keeps getting mad when I take the Mustang or the Toyota out to the cemeteries and come back with mud all over the sides, so I picked up a used Santa Fe. That'll teach her. Ha ha.

St. Aloysius, St. Thomas & St. Augustine Cemeteries (Northern Cambria County)

I did a good search of these three cemeteries and surprisingly, didn't find very many of the numerous outstanding requests which is odd, because some of them are newer burials (1950's, 60's and later). One was even in 2010.

One person in particular, Richard Patz #82125151- his obit states that services were held at St. Aloysius, but it doesn't state that he was actually buried there. He could have been cremated or buried at nearby St. Francis (less likely). Another was Wayne Weaver in the same cemetery who died in 2010. I know I've had to start wearing cheater glasses to read but I can't see how I missed so many memorials in these 3 cemeteries.

Anyhow, I'm not going to make any notes under "report problems" because perhaps someone else will have better luck. Plus, when other volunteers see a problem many times they won't read the problem, they'll just skip over it and not try to look for it.

As for the many infants you've submitted requests for based off of death certificates, the majority don't have headstones so I'm going to assume they're buried in an unmarked grave with their parents. So I'm going to do what I normally do and post a photo of the unmarked grave with the accompanying note.

Just thought I'd pass this along...

Calvary Requests
Check on your person you requested in J also. I have it totally photographed and uploaded. Unless I missed it it isn't marked. Ask if they both have headstones and let me know. I'll go back and look if they do.
