jester griggs photo request
I would be happy to fill your photo request, however, can you contact Grove Hill cemetery and get the burial locations for your requests: 214-381-7118
The cemetery office does not cooperate with findagrave volunteers

Your request will get filled with the location information.

RE: 18311426 - Mary A Pattie
Yes, his 4 GGrandfather is the famous one. I have the typed out manuscript of his book. Thank you for the links. I did not know about the WWII ship or of Grand Canyon. Just this last weekend we drove down to San Diego, CA. We only live about an hours plus drive north. I went to the Presidio where the fort was and there is a Sylvester Pattie Memorial. It talks about his son, James Ohio also. Thank you again! Lisa

I'm sorry, I neglected to open up the photo. No need to change anything. John Pattie's son, Sylvester Partie is my husbands 4th great grandfather. Are you related to him at all? Lisa

Hello, I was looking for my Pattie's in Kentucky and came across Mary's memorial. You submitted a picture on her memorial however it is of a man. Is the picture on the correct memorial? Thank you, Lisa

Tom Johnson

I have added the photo for Tom Johnson and you can see what you think....the stone was very dark but if you double click on the photo, I think you will be able to read the information. I really like it when these things work out!

I have a photo taken yesterday of Tom L. Johnson at Fairview Cemetery in Denison, Tx - 1896 - 1960 with the following initials underneath:
8th H.A.M.O.R.S

Could this be your Tom Johnson, even though the death datae is different? I would be glad to supply the photo to his memorial page.

Hi: Tom, James Harcrow is my 3rd great grand father! His daughter Amanda Susan Harcrow, Tems, is my 2nd great grand mother! Thank you for the information! I would love too see anything that you have on the Harcrow's. I do know by evidence that the Harcrow's came too Texas, in the 1880's. Along with my ancestry's. Because my grand mother was born here in Texas, in 1897...Thank you for all you have done! And that my great grand mother Amanda died in Texas, in 1900.

Marc & Donna
James & Martha Cargill
Tom, I am hoping you can help with some information. You have a James & Marth Cargill listed as being buried in the Cameron Pioneer Cemetery. Martha's death certificate just shows "Shipped to Cameron Texas" and James' certificate is one of the much older ones that does not show a cemetery name. I have another source (not necessarily reliable) saying James was buried in the Little River Baptist Church in Milam County. I am hoping you have something that documents that they are in Cameron Pioneer. I am hoping to get something definative as to where they may be buried. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

It's probably not clear that his wife is buried right next to him. I added a picture of her grave, too.

I went back out there today bc I had found her children that weren't listed on Find A Grave and and wanted to double check myself and also to verify that four Petersons listed with Find A Grave are NOT there. Any way, I found Sally's old funeral home metal marker in a tree and took a picture of it. If you are interested, I can email it to you.

Glad to take the photo. The cemetery where she is buried very likely has a Garland address so this could explain the death certificate location. I also took pictures of her four children's graves. You'll notice that three are identical (without names or dates); they are all adjacent to her.

Hi there! :)

There has been a LOT of interest in Marietta Cemetery lately, (aka Olivet Cemetery). I've been getting SACs for that cemetery, and I am embarrassed when I look at the photos I posted 5 years ago. I went back there today and took a few during lunch. I was just posting some when I saw that you added Charles Oliver today. I hope you didn't think I was stalking your submissions. I'm just trying to help. I transferred Charles' wife to you.

Thanks! :)
