How might you be related to Martha? She was my step grandma but we always called her grandma. Lived in Farmington and always liked visiting there. Just curious. Thanks.

Photo request for Daniel & Dewey Drorbaugh Jr
I'm sorry, but there are no grave stones for Daniel Drorbaugh Jr (1896-1897) and Dewey D Drorbaugh. This was also verified by the City of Mesa Cemetery online spreadsheet of burials. In the posted photos, the yellow daisies are marking where the grave site lies.

Melissa Blackman
Hello cousin!
Hi Jessica,

Haven't heard from you in awhile, was worried you were okay. If you get a chance, check your messages on Ancestry, I think I may have sent you one or two? The invite never has come through and I don't know why it's being such a problem. Also had a question for you if you know who might have added the year of death to William Wilson's grave in Bethany Cemetery in Lowell, Iowa. It wasn't there 15 years ago, but it was last September. I'm trying to check with all the cousins before I start contacting memorial companies to try and find out who added it.

Hope all is well, write if you have a chance.

Take care,

RE: Ruby Lasley
I will go back and look for Robert Lasley. I did get the cemetery office to tell me that the grave is in Section Apostles, Lot 357, graves 1 and 2, but there is no record of a marker. I will go back, though and see if I can find a Robert Lasley.

Find A Grave Changes
A friend told me about this change a couple days after this was deployed. I have sent edit/s to you so I thought maybe you didn't know about it. You might want to pass it on to your friends. If I have sent this to you before, sorry, but I didn't see it on your profile page. thanks!!! ~Peggy

New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"

New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013

Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you. Then just review and accept.

Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/ places/plot #s/links to spouse/s and parents.

You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.

RE: Rathburn cemetery
Thank you for your reply.

You know, I am wrong, I realized later. Even though my grandma and her parents spelled it without the r, I believe that others up in that area didn't, based on what I found when I looked around on the internet.

So I apologize profusely.

And I am not sure there is a way to make any change to a cemetery name.

RE: Josias & Julia Fickel
Thanks so much for your message. Yes, I would be happy to take over Josias and Julia Fickel's memorials. He was my great-grandmother's uncle. And, my grandmother who was born in 1869 (and lived past 98-years) lived with the Fickels on their farm in Van Buren Co. during the 1870s after her father died suddenly. Best, Tom

RE: Rachel Drorbaugh
Thanks for the info, it does looks like the baby in question is Clarence Drorbaugh. I will add him into the spreadsheet with Lulu Drorbaugh. I never would have been able to see the name Clarence without your info!

Drorbaughs at Riverside
Ok, looks liek Lulu M was the daughter of Abraham and Rachel D. died Oct 13, 1892, 11 mo old :/ There is another one on another side of Lulu's marker, but it is almost completely worn away....if it wasn't so cold out, I would do a foil rubbing and might be able to make out the info, might have to wait until spring though :)

Rachel Drorbaugh

I was able to find her marker today and added some photos for her memorial. Did she have a baby who was born and died in 1895? Looks like the baby only lives a few months.....the reason I ask is because there is a baby listed on one of the 4 sides of her grave marker and I cannot quite make out the name. Was wondering if you knew what the name was? There were also a few other Drorbaugh's nearby, old markers.....a Lulu M and a couple more.

Of the pictures I posted, if you look at the one that is an overview you will see a large, yellow clump of Irises. Ida's grave is in that clump and you can barely discern her marker.
