The memorial you created for Julius #161673169, on Apr 25 2016, is a duplicate of one already created back on Apr 14 2012 # 88526736, please resolve this with whomever created it... Thank You

RE: Re: Leete Changes
Karen. Thanks for the offer to transfer to my management Leete memorials. I would love that.

Yes, I descend from William Leete, the first governor of Connecticut, and from his son Andrew Leete. Andrew made a name for himself by whisking away the charter that made Connecticut freedom from England. He did it in the darkness of night. The King of England changed his mind and sent representatives from England to Connecticut to take back the charter and reclaiming Connecticut for England. But grandpa Andrew hid the charter in a hollow in an old oak tree in the town. That act saved Connecticut from the King. That became famously known as the Charter Oak and was long revered. There are towns in the USA named for that event, such as Charter Oak, Iowa.

About five or six years ago the US Mint issues quarters with each state's name and symbol on it. Look at the Connecticut 25 piece. You'll see that Oak tree on it. My grandpa Andrew Leete did a good thing.

So yes, I am related to the Leetes, and proudly so.

Thanks Karen. You are being good to this old preacher! Keith in Omaha. #4886444

Eva Bonham, Dayton Cemetery

Parents of Eva Bonham are incorrect. Homer Bonham married Ellen Pollard in 1877. I have her parents as John Bonham and Martha Sutcliff. Only proof I have is in the accounting for living and total children from 1900 census. In addition, vitals for Homer W. Bonham appear to be for some other person. Any chance you could get control of that memorial?

Gino Martini
Hi Karen!

I've been meaning to fix up Gino's obit, but unfortunately it looks like I'm going to be at work/school nonstop for the next few days, so I went ahead and transferred him back to you so you can get him all sorted out. Hopefully that's cool with you :-)

Woo! Thanks for the transfers :-D. I added my pictures of Gino and Oliva's stones, and I just noticed their exact death dates are inscribed -- Gino died June 13, 1963 and Olive died October 22, 1977.

Lydia McAllister #124673213
Hi Karen!

I got your message about Lydia McAllister and I thought the name Oliva Martini sounded familiar; I looked through my pictures, and both Oliva and her second husband Gino are in the mausoleum at Our Mother of Sorrows.

Do you want to add their memorials, since I think you have more info about them, and I'll add my pictures of their markers once you're done?

Perondi Family
Hi Karen!

Thank you for transferring Tiny to me, I added some more info to her husband and son's memorials. I can't seem to find her other son Mike, but I'll let you know if I run across his stone in my photos of Walton's. I think I've finally got the whole cemetery photographed!

Have a good weekend :-D

DePoali (DePaoli?) Family
Hi again, Karen!

I got your messages, and I went ahead and transferred Linnie to you. I was wondering, I also manage two of her children's memorials, William DePoali and Daisy Ponciano, would you like me to transfer them as well?

I also found an obituary for Linnie's daughter, Amy:
It seems she's buried in Mountain View, and it appears she's not on Find A Grave yet. I thought I'd send you the obituary and see if you'd rather make a memorial, instead of me making one and transferring.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help!

No, I am a double Sheldon, but not through Gideon. I just thought that the "e" spelling was important to note in the Bio.
Thanks, vicky

Nice photograph of Gino Cipriani.
It is tragic that he died at such a young age.
Makes one wonder what type of music he played.
Old Italian music for his community or
country western (as it was in the 20s).

Hope your daughter gets the computer set up in
the near future, It is frustrating not having
a dependable one to use,

Hi Karen!

Thanks for the extra info on Ruth! I put together a bio from the obituary on your memorial and some other stuff I found on Ancestry, and linked her to her husband.

If it's alright, I'll go ahead and delete the dupe now.

Thank you so much for fixing that. The obit also gives the death date of her husband but I do not remember seeing find a grave information for him or a headstone.

Thank you for all you do Karen. Much appreciated.
