I've just discovered that my great, great, great grandparents are interred at the Cherokee/Hanna Cemetery. I'm hoping to make a trip there soon but was wondering if their marker's had ever been found. If not, are you aware of any certain area of the cemetery where you feel they may be interred. I'm planning a trip there to try and find it if it hasn't already been located. I'll be taking some photos to show my father. He's 85 and will not be with me much longer. Would love to do this as a gift for him. thanks... Darren Corley.

I changed the bio for his memorial - please let me know if it looks right now. Also, should the spelling of his last name be left as Pearce, changed to Pierce/Pearce or to Pierce ?

I do most of the correcting & editing for our group, and the guy who created this memorial is deceased now anyway. I'm traveling now but I'll try to get it straightened out this weekend.

Since this is your family line I will gladly transfer them back to you to maintain. Just send me a list of the members of your family memorials. I have worked with Pamela Fowler Sweeney46967874) at email@example.com
and know she will also do the same if you ask by memorial number. Since I get about 15 requests a day to add info it simplifies to identify each person by their memorial number.

The information on his memorial site came from the obituary in our local paper and a photo of his gravestone. Both state that he was born in England. It would seem that he lived in Tenn. and Missouri before coming to Texas in 1858. I will add your information to the bio. section of the site.

|Penelope Conklin||Location of Nancy Seymour's Husband|
Hello from Penelope Conklin--I have not found the grave location of Nancy's husband Robert Seymour. I am not even sure when and where he died. A few days ago I was in Franklin County, IL where another Robert Seymour lived but he was not my Great Grandfather.
Robert Seymour was born abt 1820 in Virginia. He lived with Nancy and his children in Henry County, IL and is in the census there up until 1880. After that I cannot find where the family went. Now at least I know where Nancy died but is Robert buried in Kansas also or somewhere else? I am new at this geneology stuff and I haven't located the correct Robert Seymour as of yet. That is one reason it would be nice to hear from the "cousins", maybe they know where Robert is buried.
Again, thank you for all your help.

Hello from Penelope Conklin. I am the fraternal, Great Granddaughter of Nancy Seymour. I just found this website a few days ago and at that time it had no photo--now it does--thank you for putting it under Nancy's name.
I am not sure how you got the photo but could you let the "cousins in Neb. and Iowa" know that I would like to hear from them if possible. I now live in Iowa. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
June 10, 2012 I plan to go to the Scottsville Cemetery to find Nancy's grave. I am assuming that the Cemetery is in the town of Scottsville, KS--is that right?
Thank you for all your help.
