My Dad's Grace site
Thank you so much Amy for documenting my Father's grave. Raymond C. Sutton in MS. I live in Arizona and have visited the grave site only once. I was pleased when I found this site and the pic of his stone.

I am grateful!

RE: barbara preston
You are welcome. My sister knows them, and said she saw Barbara just the other day. Her memorial actually should not be on Find A Grave - I'll send a request to her and her husband deleted to the gal who posted them.

Crossroads Cemetery
You were kind enough to transfer many Lassiter and Ford kin of mine for me to maintain that you had memorials for in Crossroads Cemetery near Curve in Lauderdale County TN.

Among them, you had Powell Ford (#50945175) and his wife Mary Elizabeth Anderson Ford (#50945084) and her father J.B. Anderson (#50945222) in Crossroads. I visited these grave about 20 years ago, and I thought that Powell and his wife were buried in a very small cemetery near Crossroads and closer to Hwy 51. The Anderson grave was in another very small cemetery near it.

RE: GPS
Thanks a lot Amy for the offer. I just happened to stumble upon the Mt. Austin cemetery as I was browsing some DeSoto county cemeteries. I am not from the area so a lot of the posts I've done is on my husband's family who lived in the area, and so many are buried in Morgan Grove and I did find the cemetery and added several names. This cemetery is almost hidden from the road and has a locked gate, but you can sweeze through on the side of the post. When I looked at Mt. Austin I noticed some names from a person I'd been in contact with on Ancestry.com. Whenever I visit the area I try to visit as many grave yards as I can sweeze into my time. Next time I will try to find Mt. Austin and look around. So don't rush, you can take your time in putting the photos on. The Kelseys are the ones I am interested in.
Keep up the good work!!!!

Hi Amy,
I do appreciate all the work you've done in the DeSoto county, Mississippi cemeteries. Do you have any headstone photos for Mount Austin cemetery?
Was wondering if you know who places the GPS maps on the sites. It looks like the one for Hernando Memorial cemetery is for a cemetery in Georgia and not Mississippi. Was just wondering how that could be corrected.

RE: Mildred Miller
You might contact The Pennsylvania Room at the Hanover Public Library. On Friday from 1-5 you should be able to talk to someone who might be able to find an obituary to help you out.

Just a thought.

RE: DOBs
I just used your Lagacy.com with some of the memorials I have a dob missing. Then I tried it with a few I have the date. Watch the one with the first of the month. Before a certain date, it don't know when SSI only put the month and year. They, who ever they are just put the first to fill a box. I was looking for an obit for a teacher of mine that died in 1986. It came back as Sept. 1, 1986 and I already had Sept. 15th. So just watch out. Some people get upset with you if everything isn't perfect. Not all, just a few.

This stone is entirely weathered away. These is nothing legible from the stone. The only way we were able to identify the stone as the correct one is by take the actual map from the period of burial with us out to the grounds and matching them with the head stones. I'm sorry that the stone was not in better condition. I will try to get better pictures of the other Esworthy.
