Memorial #101772051
Daniel Vaughn listed by you at the memorial number shown, is my great-grandfather. I am hopeful to have found him, but taken aback by the photo of the cemetery entrance instead of his actual grave. Do you have more concrete evidence that Daniel Vaughn is buried at this site? Thank you so much. Marilyn Robinson

Carsten, Carstensen, & Carstens
Thank you Connie for transfering all the Carsten kins that I have found so far. Thanks for starting the pages. I am sure we will be emailing again soon. I checked on Martin Carstensen today even though I got the transfer in the email, my name still isn't on it as being able to manage it. Never seen that happen before..

Thanks again for doing this.

Anna Lucas
Connie - can you tell me where you got the information re: Anna Lucas? I have been attempting to link all the children of John and Helen Lucas but was unable to find a headstone for Anna (no. 4 of 13). I came across your memorial for Anna Lucas with accurate birth and death years, but on a trip to the cemetery, could not locate a grave site. Can you provide me with any information?

Hi,
I was wondering why you don't put any of the ob for Pamala Wolf on her memorial. I deleted the survivors if thats what the problem was.

RE: name change
ok So you only put the rank if they died while serving? Good to know. I do it for every vet to honor service. I do understand your point and there no rules for it or against. I just wondered why.

Cyrus S Stacy
Find A Grave Memorial# 89214745
Cyrus' mother's name is not Anna Rood. It is Anna Stacy. Some published genealogy or history listed Reuben Carpenter as being married to a Miss ??? Rood but his marriage intentions to Anna Stacy are in Wilbraham, MA on February 9, 1788 and his marriage to her is recorded in Somers, CT on April 16, 178. The S in Cyrus middle name stands for Stacy. This was a quite popular in the way to carry on the surname of females in the families back in the day.

David and Jeanne Thierwechter
Connie - Thank you for your post on this website. Both of my parents passed away in 2014. Mom on January 25 and Dad on July 19. They were married for nearly 68 years!

They together decided several years ago to not have funerals or memorials.

They wanted a happy celebration, with family. We did that.

On August 9, 2014, Jim Stouffer (Owner of Catawba Island Club, and a very dear friend) brought his 73' Burger yacht and helped us spread Mom and Dad ashes between South Bass Island and Green Island.

We had over 40 people, all family, there.

I know a lot of our friends wondered what we did for them.

What they wanted.

Thank you again, Connie

George W.Starnes
Dear Ms. Starnes,
I have been researching my family history and stumbled upon this article and seen you were the creator of it.
I believe George Starnes to be my 4 times great grandfather on my mothers side. My great grandmother was Vanga Brown Hanner and I believe her mother to be Winnie J Starnes Brown. On a old U.S. Census I seen that George W.Starnes to be Winnie J. Father .
I find this all so fascinating would love to learn more from you.

Peace and Blessings

There is a lot of confusion about her correct name. Her signature is shown as Binckley. I am leaving my posting as is until I find other examples of her signature.

Christy Chapel cemetery
I have 6 relatives in Christy Chapel, that are under you and I was wondering if we are related. They are Grimm's Robert Lee Sr. and his wife Flota both born in WVA 97663186 & 97663285. Their son David Lawson Arnet Grimm 1920 WVA 18 Aug 1939 Ottawa co. Train/car accident 97662543. Then Robert Lee and Flota grandson David O 25 January 1946 Port Clinton 97663397. Then there is twin granddaughters Melody Marlee and Kimberly Sue Royster 97662629 & 97662724.

I've been doing research for close to 30 years but completely new to find a grave! I do have some gravestone pictures but have to figure out scanner before I can figure out how to upload and attach them. Things have changed so much since I started looking for my family!!

S Moore
Reva Haller Warnick
When I input this I did a search on Reva Warnick in Sackett Cemetery. As her obituary lists her as Reva. The funeral home records indicate her first name as Reva. She is the wife of my gg grandmothers brother, Woods Stalnaker. In continuing my family research I later found her listed in the cemetery readings from Ohio Genealogy Express as Sigourney Warnick. Is there a way we can combine them since she is attached to her husband, children, and parents or add your intial input or something so I will have not have to unattach all these people. Thanks!
